Tuned into this last night expecting great things. ....and it wasn't. Ciff liked it, but both Lilly and I thought it was boring old toot. I've read tales about the Rwanda massacre that made my hair stand on end. There are many terrible stories that are waiting to be told. Instead we get a sort of police procedural, with added in "lawyers in love" romantic interest and a splash of always topical mental health issues - the latter giving the actors free licence to indulge in the full expression of their most tragic overacting. Also the girl who plays the African daughter has a funny shaped head. Also the chap who plays the Canadian UN peace keeper fella has a very comical accent. Both of these impediments prevent you from listening to what they're saying. I fell asleep in the chair halfway through, so I can't say if it got any better, but I could see the way it was going and severely bloody doubt it.
