We've reached the "Big Five 0" and I reckon even if we lost every game from now to the end of the season we would still stay up!!!

I know PYA has been saying we are safe for weeks, and TBH honest I have always agreed with him on that point, however I am now 99.9% convinced that we do not need to get another point to maintain our championship status!!!

But what if we win every game between now and the end of the season.Thats how you should be thinking TVOR!!

The maximum points we can get this season is 83. Going to be tough to get into the play-offs you need between 70-86.

The playoffs would be great, but for now I am pleased with the considerable likelihood of at least maintaining our championship status!!!

Which after all is something that most of us were concerned with at the beginning of the season!!!

Yup, i feel its now time to blood some of the younger youngsters such as murray, massey, connor smith, chez isaac so that we can build for next season.

Could be why today Malky is quoted as saying we can still make the play-offs.

First time this season I have heard that:biggrin:

On our current form over the last few games both the playoffs and relegation (gladly) are out of our reach. However what has been mentioned not out of our reach is giving the youngsters more match time. Hasn't Malky been doing this with the likes of Thompson, Bennett, Hudson, and Whichelow all playing and making contributions to our performances. In fact apart from Taylor, Eustace, Doyley and Graham all of the squad are youngsters!

I'd be happy to see if we can push for a top 10 finish, don't think we will realistically be able to achieve a play off place - but as you say, i'm pretty convinced we're safe now anyway. I would like to see us keep the kind of position we're in, or improve it - i'd be a little disappointed if we managed to slip to the lower reaches by the end of the season.

Depending on how many points, if any at all QPR get deducted, things could change..

Yes, thanks. Very interesting. Statistically seems unlikely to be relegated now.
