To me I'd rather look at his positives. I believe it was Vaulks who took a potshot from outside the box. His handling of that shot was class! Considering that was their only real effort on goal he dealt brilliantly with it.
Yes Danny has his faults but I believe his pluses far outweigh these at the moment.

I see some fans blaming Bachmann for the goal conceded at Cardiff, but for me that's just looking to blame him for something. When he first came into the side many would have been making excuses to defend him. It was clearly not the keeper's fault for that goal. The player to blame was WTE. He didn't get close to the player with the ball and even turned his body to shield himself when the low ball was crossed in. I hate players that do that. He's got to be far braver. Once the ball had been crossed it was highly likely to end up in our net. The movement from their striker was good, and had Sierralta let the ball go, Moore would have had a simple tap in. The only thing I would say on Bachmann over that goal was he was flat footed and rooted. He usually is very good at reaction stops. The same thing happened to him for that disallowed Forest goal. He was rooted and didn't move as it went past him. Both times this was diving to his right. Whereas all his really good reaction saves are when he goes to his left. So maybe he has a little problem reacting quickly when he has to dive to his right. Some keepers are like that. Pantilimon was the same. Couldn't dive to his right.

If you add to that his inability to command the 6 yard box, then he's never going to be a number one keeper in a top league. I doubt he'll ever be able to deal with crosses. What he does is avoids getting involved. He will stay on his goal line at all times. Right now, he's being protected by Sierralta, but if he is not in the team, we struggle. Remember how Derby put so much pressure on us in the closing minutes. That's because Sierralta was rested and Derby worked out a weakness.

As soon as Foster is fit, he's got to come straight back in. He's a far superior keeper, although Bachmann has done well in general, and has managed to hide his weaknesses quite well.

Sounds like Foster was only on the bench as Elliot got ill so not sure if he is considered fit enough to start or not.

Perfectly put about WTE. It's a football for Gods sake, it could sting a little but that's it. Man up and stop the cross. Never turn your head, ever.

Thought Bachmann looked much more positive from crosses today, and less stuck to his line. Made one mistake with a dropped catch but apart from that, excellent. Would be very silly to drop him, sends the wrong message to the squad

Think I saw it was 4 saved from 5 faced, including the shootout? Haven't checked it myself though

Yep, I make it just the penalty against Newport that he didn't save

Yet another game that could have been sticky for him, but probably his best game for us in the league. It does look like he's kept the #1 jersey now with Foster seemingly fit but on the bench for the last two games
