Benitez to leave Newcastle

Says it all that we've fallen below Newcastle in our motivation to sign players. More interested in distracting the fan base with a pointless badge change exercise.

Relegation looms large.

 

They could have kept rondon for less than half that money, but instead lash out £40m on a player with one leg 3cm shorter than the other who managed to score 7 goals in the fearsome Austrian league. I think prodl scored 11 in that league the season before he came here.

Still, at least the whinging Geordies have a new noomba neeeen to get disappointed over.

 

Actually there are a load of rumours that the Geordies are going to get done for 'tapping-up' Bruce (11th on their list of candidates).
