Bolton saved. Takeover complete. Bassini not in the picture.
Good luck to them.
Some good news !
The ironic thing is, every new owner gets treated like the saviour when acquiring a club in dire straits. Ken Anderson was. So was Steve Dale. You just hope new owners aren’t just a case of extending the pain given recent events.
The EFL were stung by waving Dale through due to the crisis Bury were in - ‘someone is better than no-one’. I really hope they haven’t done the same to Bolton here. But as I say, given the current storm around their processes, I doubt even they are that foolish.
I hope all those millionaires that supposedly leant money to Bassini can get hold of him this morning....
"You lent me money ? I only remember your kind donation to keep the club afloat which I'm pretty certain I passed on to the club to help pay the starving players, cleaners, groundsman....I really don't remember a loan agreement..?"
Seeing him live tomorrow night. Always comes across as very funny so looking forward to it
His live shows are always excellent and he attracts a really good crowd, enjoy!
Is this wise from the new owners at Bolton ?
