I do t get the bbc report. But everything about that little turd confuses me. It seems to state that they’ll let someone else buy Bolton but bas seems to think he has won?
A few weeks ago I posted this, the middle company's accounts were due a few days ago. I just went on to the Companies House website and now the accounts are due on 9th November but the only entry for 9th August was a statement shortening the previous accounting period by one day from 30/8/18 to 29/8/18. There is also another entry on 9th May shortening the accounting period by one day from 31/8/18 to 30/8/18.
I'm no expert in this field, I assume by doing this the person is making a way to delay the accounts filing by 3 months? Very peculiar activity, if you ask me.
Accounts have to be filed within 9 months of year end, or within 21 months of registration if the first set of accounts. You can only push back the filing deadline by extending the accounting period ( can be as long as 18 months but the 21 month rule still applies for the first accounts. It used to be possible to get a 3 month extension if you have "overseas influences" which was vague but could mean key shareholders, customers, suppliers, directors etc but not sure if that still applies. If it does I will be using it in the next 4 weeks .
The prequel, I suppose.
Pretty obvious this was only ever a property deal from Bassini & Sullivans point of view. Asset stripping & Bolton FC would have been secondary in every respect.
Bolton FC have had a lucky escape. They must hate us; 1999 & now this.
I was struggling to go to slee.....
Glad to help !
Here's the latest from the attention seeking freak...….https://lionofviennasuite.sbnation....-on-bolton-wanderers-with-bizarre-performance
How can Bassini keep attracting attention from fans ?!
It’s like the bearded lady or the guy with a tattooed face. It’s the Ripley’s Believe It or Not freak show. People are fascinated by absurdity.
First he was the Red Helmet, now he’s he Red Megaphone.
I'm actually stunned he's made a mug out of himself in public while holding a bright red object AGAIN.
It defies all logic and expectations... but there it is, clear as day.
Not one to want to see a club go to the wall...and the Bolton fans don’t deserve it.
...but a very small part of me wants him to somehow get control of Bolton. Watching it play out would be unbelievable stuff. And perhaps the huge wake-up call footballing authorities need.
Would make a brilliant documentary but we can't wish that on any football fans. Or maybe just one set....
How brilliant would that be!
Can envisage Bassini being invited on to Strictly in a few years.
There would be a 2 week mid series delay caused by his lawyers filing an injunction to contest his unfair voting out. "The BBC are against me"
Didn't someone on here say years ago he once owned/ran a car wash place in Bushey with immigrants doing the washing?
Strictly Come Chancing?
Very good. You should consider applying for Edinburgh next year.
He'd promise people the Argentine Tango, the Viennese Waltz and an American Smooth but end up doing the Lambeth Walk, a bit of Dad-Dancing and a solo version of the Hokey-Cokey because his partner is hiding behind an inflatable beer bottle stage prop.
He'd then stand outside the studio where its filmed wearing an outsized red mirrorball hat as he spouted non-sensical one-liners on saving the show from its imminent collapse due to the fraudulent voting system.
I did once do a 'season' there. As a representative for a dozen comedy acts on the books of a Macunian agency called Gag Reflex. Quite recently too. In 2013.
Cue Moose and Sting now weighing in with an accusation of 'ZZT syndrome'. Too many things in one lifetime.
I have never been a 'plod'.
At the interview we were all required to name our favourite comedians and to say why we liked them. My favourites were Spike Milligan, Alexei Sayle, Bill Bailey, Stewart Lee and Matt Forde. It was all there. History, sarcasm, dryness and politics. Unfortunately, the 'Bassini option' hadn't been fully developed at the time.
Personally, I've always found my own sense of humour to be too mechanical for my own tastes though. As if generated by a machine.
Their manager and his assistant have resigned now. Suggestions they actively reduced themselves to bystanders in recent weeks anyway and let the youth coaches run the side given it 95% youth team players featuring.
Only surprise is it’s taken them this long.
As dodgy as Bassini is - the court injunction he got was set aside so that the sale that was ‘on the verge of being done’ could go ahead - over a week ago that happened and it’s still not gone through.
The administrators selected a preferred bidder way before the season started - even putting Bassini out of the equation for a minute - some thing else is going on up there that no one is admitting. These administrators sound bent as hell.
I'm falling out of love with football in general (not Watford, but i have little to no interest in any neutral games) and the situation at Bolton and Bury just makes me sad and angry
You can’t have Bassini, administrators and bent in the same paragraph, can you?
He needs to see a psychiatrist.
And after seeing him the psychiatrist will need to see a psychiatrist.
The Bolton Administrators have announced the takeover has collapsed and the club will likely be liquidated this week...awful.
Not knowing any more, this looks like a case of Bassini getting it or no more BWFC. What a horrible choice to be left with.
If BWFC isn’t saved all we will hear from Bassini for the next umpteen years will be “ I could have saved BWFC but they wouldn’t let me “ let’s hope it doesn’t come to that!
Very sad news .
Do all their results get chalked off now ?
It seems like this is Anderson's fault for not agreeing to it when he had the chance to finally ratify the deal to the new consortium.
My guess is Basini & Anderson are playing good cop/bad cop in the media together.
Bas must have promised Anderson a share of the development money etc if he sells to him. There can be no other logical reason Anderson didn't want the original deal to go through?
Bassini says he has £30m in the bank ready to buy Bolton. I hope his various creditors are paying attention.
Bolton have been saved. Sold to Football Ventures. The statement released by the administrators is less than complimentary about the former owner and it’s obvious they’ve been biting their tongues until he was out of the picture...
I would imagine it’s almost inevtaible that Bassini will try and sue someone or tie the new owners up in court saying he owns the club or something!
