[NOT HAPPENING] Barry Douglas

FootballerInsider247 reporting that we are about to bid for Leeds defender Barry Douglas, and that Leeds are happy for him to leave.

Scottish international left-sided defender who hasn’t appeared for them in the PL this season but has played in the League Cup.

Think he's a set piece specialist if I remember correctly. Could be decent cover.

Honestly, haven't seen him play for a couple of years. Used to be good at this level- for Wolves. I'm guessing, from some of the reaction on here, that this is no longer the case?

I’ll whack a COG hat on for 2 mins, his set-pieces are excellent and something we don’t really possess - unless Garner comes good.

Taking the COG hat off and nestling back into my sodden bedsheets - everything else about his game is terrible. He’s the wrong side of 30. And we are spending money on someone out of contract in 8 months and will probably give him a 5 year deal.

 

Everyone can mention Estupinan all they want, he never ever won a game in the Championship. Barry from Douglas has.
