I would take him on loan, I imagine Chelsea would be keen to shift a bit off their wage bill.

If he can find fitness and form he would be a good signing for us, but the biggest question mark is definitely over the fitness.

The flaws with that song a numerous, not least that Baba has one too many syllables for how you're trying to use it, but the fact that Rahman is a LWB and you're trying to claim that he'll be shoehorned in to being one of the 3 CBs is the most heinous of the crimes.

This actually isn't true. After extensive research, I came to the conclusion that "I wanna (ah)" and "I want Baba" are both 4 syllables long.

Damn! I didn't realise he's a LWB. In fairness though, we have a great record of playing players out of position. Capoue and Hughes on the wing are good examples haha.

 

Actually yeah you're right when counting the syllables, it's more that trying to say the 'b' in 'baba' seems to take the space of two syllables as the end of 'want' doesn't really flow in to it and so there's a pause between the t and b which in effect sound almost like an extra syllable.

I genuinely don't know much about him, he might be an absolute class act, but if he's injury prone, what's the point? Rather have an average Championship player with a solid fitness record than a top class player who'll spend most of his time on the treatment table

 

From reports it sounds like this one is getting closer. Was meant to be joining Leeds but fell through so I suspect that ironically we are moving on from their LB to the guy they wanted to replace him with?

Injury free he'd do very well here.

 

Was supposed to be quite promising before his injury, he's quick, strong and a good crosser of the ball (according to a Chelsea fan I know)

 

With Janmaat heading out there's a huge gap in the squad for an injury prone full back
