i reckon it will be 15k with 9,000 seeason ticket holders. that means the condemned stand should be knocked down as soon as the season ends - and any of the fans who go in there can then easily be accomodated elsewhere in the ground and we won't have to listen to them whinging about their seat allocation.
I reckon the average attendence will be 16k with 11k STH's. Hopefully, a good few newcomers will stick around. Although a few of us who are accustomed to watching from the Condemned Stand will not be happy with being temporarily rehoused in the Vic Road Stand, the way I see it is it'll be worth watching the Golden Boys from the 'wrong' perspective to get a stand with its own toilet (or maybe two!).
Depends on our success really....probably be about 14/15k if we are up the top again and prices are fair. Ofcourse a bad season could lead to the 12k stuff. I remember when I first went in 1992 10k was a good crowd! Anyone got a list of our season averages over the years?
old div four - average approx 4,500 - they are the watford legends. That is why the middle to old age fans should be treated with some respect from the wanabe life long young fans - how many young fans would or could endure 35 years+ of wfc yo yo seasons and being 92nd in the league. Darlington away, cold winters eveing o a tuesday night - get there and the games called off - loved it.
If we go down I'll be getting a Season Ticket next year - just hope they have some available in the Rookery!
I would think that is very likely, doubt very much the manure fans who sit near me will renew theirs if we go down.
