Lets be honest, we lost it , day 1, ball 1. ok our captain is missing, as are tresco and jones the swing, but we shot ourselves in the foot more than once. poor team selection, choosing the wrong captain, lack of match practice,and some players out of form cost us this series. a lot of this comes back on duncan fletcher, and the sooner he goes the better. we have a good young team, which now needs new ideas, and a change of coach. but the worse thing, we have to wait until 2009, for revenge.
Now we'll see Joyce, Dalrymple and Strauss all in the team hopefully . Therefore I propose we rename England, Middlesex.

Should blood a few younger academy players now. I would like to see Chris Broad in now, possibly for Saj Mahmood. Jones must go now and never ever lpay again in England colour, if Read is not considered good enough, blood a young keeper like Steve Davis at Worcestershire. Flintoff should go as captain, with Straus possibly dropped as well (has been unlucky with decisions). I would give the captains job to Ian Bell with him being told he will be there for the long term, and give him chance to learn on the job. The manager must go just for the fact that the king of spain even made the tour. Unfortunately, nothing will happen until after the world cup as it is too late to change now
Before the injury, giles was a decent player. It is a shame about Giles's family problem now. Does make me wonder if he was in the right frame of mind to play. Fair play for the Monty situation, being the first to shake hands and congratulate him on his 5 wickets. I can't seem Trescothick playing again either
