Took his goal well I thought. Gives us a possible goal option off the bench at the business end of the season.
After today, I think Gray might actually be a better option than Success as Success had a similar chance to Gray but mis-controlled the ball allowing the GK to block him off and generally was **** as well.
Nothing more infuriating than a player who can't hit the target from 5 yards out sometimes yet other times can run from pretty much the halfway line and slot past the keeper.
Keep the goals coming. With any luck, it’ll be enough to persuade somebody desperate he’s worth taking from us.
Did anyone else here him say “ I should have had a hat trick “ coming off the pitch at the end of the game!
It was Hungbo's fault for not passing him the ball when he chose to shoot. You could see his anger on his face. That's why shortly after Hungbo had to pass Gray the ball so he could bury it, sorry hit the keeper.
Gray just about deserves his slot on the bench, as if we are desperate for a goal he might just about oblige as a late sub on his current unprecedented scoring form, though personally I still think Perica deserves the chance to fill that role.
Yes he was peeved, although if he was a reflective sort of chap he may want to remember the numerous occasions he's blasted the ball into (insert VR or R of your choice) row Z or taken out a pigeon, preening happily on the roof of the particular stand.
Dre has shown flashes of late so imo deserves his chance of the bench. He was stretching their backline which was good to see. His last couple of cameos has really impressed me.
He has scored quite a few goals when he has a chance to run on, with the ball with no one other than the keeper! taking snap shots when under pressure is where he comes unstuck!
True. But in the last couple of games as sub he's picked up some great positions to score and really should of got a few more goals. Don't get me wrong I still think he's not good enough but he's proving his worth coming off the bench to stretch the oppositions defence late on.
Not his biggest fan, and even when at his most 'dangerous' he's still very wasteful most of the time, but he does manage to get himself in the position to have a shot at least, and he has proved a decent option at seeing out games like at Blackburn
Hopefully he's through the worst of whatever epic mental block he had against scoring for the past year or two. Will be very pleased if he can chip in with a few breakaway goals off the bench in the remaining fixtures, just like yesterday. Would make it easier to offload him when we go up too
https://twitter.com/SimeyP93/status/1375113993744965636?s=19 Gray in line for a debut, Mapps captaining the side on his 50th cap alongside Michael Hector, Liam Moore and Ethan Pinnock, Swansea’s former St Albans and Hemel winger Jamal Lowe in the side too
Seems he got an assist for Jamaica tonight. Worth watching just to laugh at the failed drag back and the awful USA defending.
