Interesting if true particularly as the Lennon trail has gone cold. Seems to suggest Silva wants another winger before the window closes. That probably means Amrabat will be released to find a club. I reckon we may not even demand a fee to give him the best chance of settling elsewhere. He did everything asked of him by QSF and Mazzari in difficult circumstances, but his end product is limited. Don't think he is in Silva's plans. It will be interesting to see if he is on the bench on Saturday.

 

I reckon Amrabat will probably start. He is a bit of a workhorse and we aren't over furnished with right wingers.

I like reading your views. They're generally quite balanced. However, it is beyond silly to suggest we'd let Amrabat go for free. As much as I don't rate him, I can't even see us selling him and expect him to be a squad player this season.

 

Thanks Burnsy. Silva has now indicated that he expects more incomings and highlighted LB cover in particular. Numbers in our squad are now creeping up and that must put Amrabat under threat. Anyhow Saturday might provide some answers and you could be right if Amrabat features at some point. Playing 90 minutes last week would then be seen as a positive.
