One would call him 'a beast' on Fifa.
5 star weak foot and 4 star skills too. I really don't think we can afford to miss out on such a FIFA player.
I don't play FIFA so I'm out.
Breaking image of ITK Jim feverishly researching Carillo and working out a reply to SLB.
I bar I was a beast on FIFA look at the state of him when he was at us
This isn't entirely true or fair as he was suspended for almost an entire season by Sporting in 15/16. He started 36 games the season before, so it's only really one season at Benfica that he's not been picked when available.
Must admit I do think some people are going completely over the top with their reactions to him though, especially on Twitter you'd think he's Messi.
Will tear up this league
Just like Niang...!
Carillo my wayward son, there'll be peace when you are done...
I think this is true of a lot of wingers. Honestly think they are a different breed. Something about running fast, being flashy and not wanting to pass so the team can score - I think there is mental block to making a good pass, they want people to look at them and their dazzling skill not see someone else get all the glory and score
Marco Silva doing the same, this is beautiful, it is. English cubes eaten with onions.
finally found a new signature
Think it may even be a Haiku?
I'm looking forward to the response.
Well maybe it's kind of 5,7,5 morae/on if the first and last 5 words are said quickly
Will become a legend.
OK I'm a football nerd who's read every World Soccer magazine for the last 15 years so... I particularly love their Talent Scout feature and they were raving about Carillo when he was with Alianza Lima. Some thought he was the best young player in South America. Extremely fast and skilful winger but time has shown him to be a petulant little ****. I think he's decent to bring on as a sub to run at tired defences, as Benfica have done. I'd assume he's our second priority to Lazar Markovic. Likely to be another Ibarbo, though...

@reids - does this check out?
Come back Cally and show them how a proper winger works!
Pretty much, I don't think I've ever seen him play so can't comment on his ability but I do remember he was VERY highly rated during his time at Sporting. When he revealed he wasn't going to renew his contract at Sporting there was a huge amount of interest over who he'd join and people were somewhat surprised he re-joined another Portuguese team (people were expecting him to join a "big" club like PSG etc). Like the guy above said, I've also heard things about his attitude and if was just joining another Portuguese team then I imagine he wouldn't renew at Sporting due to either money or a falling out which *may* reinforce that....
Signed him on FIFA he is absolutely rapid.
I think this is Silva's gameplan. Troy's head is a cube. Complement with spanish/portuguese onions.
For Bournemouth or Palace?
24 hours and counting, Kieren.
Getting information on **** you don't have a clue about, especially after Billy Bigmouthing about it, is no doubt hard.
Good FIFA card but inconclusive because EA Sports don't have a category rating for ' hounding down the keeper '....
.... just pointless stats about pace , dribbling , shooting etc etc bla bla bla.
Turned us down according to this mornings ABola
If one thing is crystal clear from that article they really like the word 'incarnate' in Portugal.
It's a Roman Catholic country and features in the Mass so they rather like that word as it is archaic, so nobody knows what it means anymore and sounds impressive. I reckon we now need to kick this guy into the long grass if working with Silva makes no difference. Seems vastly over-hyped, could have a bad attitude, has not being playing for largely non-football reasons and so it is a big no from me. I'd rather keep Amrabat as this guy just seems like trouble. COYHS
However if he signs he will be brilliant and it will be a major transfer coup !!
Just been reported that Silva spoke to him and he's adamant he does not want to come.
Good, didn't want him anyways... I'd rather have Berghuis
Lol really doubt we were ever interested. Seems like paper talk to me.
I'd rather not buy this guy but still sell Amrabat.
if whatever his name is not good enough for whatever team he plays for then he's not good enough for us
