You discount motivation as a huge factor. The players were motivated last season. A good start, aiming for the fabled 7th place. Before the FA Cup Final came along. They put their feet up in the league games and sacrificed two games in hand in 7th place to get ****ed in front of the world.

The moves these players were promised didn't materialise and after a poor start, they couldn't give a ****.

 

Let Mullins have it for the season, let Luther work with the strikers, as he's offered to do, and see what happens
