If it's going to be a problem getting a work permit and he's no better than Doucoure and various other players we're linked with (Chalobah and Lemina) then why not get a fee for him?

 

He's young and talented. Maybe he will be sold. I reckon he's more likely to go to Udinese though. They sell about 6-7 players a season. They have a very high turnover of players.

 

He must play for us one day just so we can use the "allo, allo, Watford Agbo, Watford Agbo, allo... " etc chant.

 

The group definitely seem to rate him, if it is a permanent move you can be assured that there will be numerous future options.

He's gone. It says they wanted to buy him but couldn't afford him, so they loaned him instead.

Permanent deal, got around £2m according to the Wobby.

 

Wobby say he's gone for 2.5m euros. A Liege fans said the club also confirmed this same fee.

Only difference is he said its a 3 year deal, not a 4 year deal... not that it matters.

We may have a £4m buy back option / first option/ 50% sell on fee etc etc

It would be very unusual for the Pozzo not to structure a deal that would see them profit further on or even regain the player if needed.
They do seem to be pretty good at it.

Look at the Assombalonga deal (at the time I thought this was a poor move).
It was a small fee initially, a massive percentage sell on fee and we even have a % of Peterborough sell on.
the deal appears to be structured favorably towards a Watford return.
