I know he is already ours. I tried searching for an already existing thread under his name but nothing came up.

Anyway I just saw this article so thought I would share it. Basically it's an article about him being ranked in the top 4 u21 players across the top five leagues in Europe (La Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1) in tackles won. Not only that he had the 2nd highest tackle-winning percentage with 66%

Oh and just so you know in the 31 games he played last season, he started 4 as a CB, the rest as a CDM but don't let facts get in your way.

So before you want to put someone down make sure you have the right info first and not just seen Agbo's picture under defenders for Granada.

 

Not a centre back at all. The Granada coach experimented with him there at the beginning of last season as he wanted a better passer in the back four but had to abandon it after four games as it was obvious it wasn't working.

Incidentally, on the discipline stats that award 3 points for a red and 1 for a yellow, he was the dirtiest player in Europe's top 5 leagues last year so should fit in well to our ill disciplined bunch.

I believe so, supposedly he has been in spain long enough to qualify for a Spainish Passport and all that good stuff. So a work permit shouldn't be to difficult to get.

 

With Behrami and (presumably) Watson both leaving, there's a chance he could feature pre-season and catch Silva's eye. It'll give Success someone to talk to at the very least.

I hadn't meant to imply that Isaac Success feels isolated and is ignored by the other players in the squad, simply that as a young man in a foreign country, presumably away from his family, he might appreciate having someone of a similar age and background to socialise with. Surely we can import a Nigerian to be a play friend for Issac, they can't cost that much. He could even chose his own, he might like that.

So I just researched it and you are right but that ruling does not apply to the ACP countries.

The ACP is composed of 79 African, Caribbean and Pacific states, with all of them, save Cuba, signatories to the Cotonou Agreement, also known as the "ACP-EC Partnership Agreement" which binds them to the European Union. There are 48 countries from Sub-Saharan Africa, 16 from the Caribbean and 15 from the Pacific.

So the good news for us is that it appears Agbo does qualify for a Spainish Passport after 2 years.
