Look I'm fed up of you all criticising Bournemouth.

Their attacking football is so good that the term cheating cannot be applied to them.

They are at least twice as good at attacking as our strikers, so definitely deserve to have twice the penalties.

And they clearly have the best defence this league has ever seen, as not once have they given away a penalty. Maybe some stattos can tell us how many times that has happened in the Championship.

In all seriousness, they were clearly the better team, and they would have won today regardless. But they systematically cheat, and I've seen at least 4 /5 of their penalties this season which were nothing more than a dive under no contact.

To say that they do not deserve promotion would be wrong, but if we missed out by a couple of points to them for either the title or promotion, it would be through their cheating antics, and would leave a very sour taste.

By my reckoning pens for + red cards for opposition = 14+9 =23

Pens against + red cards for them = 1+2 =3

So it's not about hating B'Muff. It's about how do you explain that glaring differential? And don't give me all this stuff about how they're a nippy little passing team and deserve it. So are we and our record isn't disproportionate at all.

As has been said, their position in the table and in particular their superior goal difference can be entirely explained by these skewed statistics. Has ANY team EVER had such a bias in their favour before?

Boro looks the pivital game for us now. By the evening of Easter Monday we could be best case scenario 9 points ahead of them, or worst case scenario 6 behind.
