I don't think so. Not unless you contact the club directly and asked if Adidas have any non printed in stock.

There was only one occasion when I (and many others) got upset over what kit the team was wearing. That was Blackpool away on New Year's Day 1972 when the Horns came out in (can you believe?) White Shirts and Black Shorts. This strip was, at that time, L*t*n's before they went all liquorice allsorty.

George Kirby got very annoyed because the team was roundly booed by the travelling fans - but can you blame them?

    We lost 5-0.

We should all be grateful that the shirt is still some kind of yellow.

    Liquorice allsorty,that's good.

I'm making a note in my diary to use that as often as humanly possible.

Which Loon player is the bobbly one?

First away game is against Bournemouth who wear black shorts and socks so we will probably need the away kit.

Am I right in thinking there isn't actually another team with a yellow or amber/orange kit in the Premier League?

Hello fellow 'orns. I LIKE the new kit. Just not sure why people seemed so disappointed when the pictures were leaked. Ok it's not amazing but it's still a lot better than most we've had in recent years, including last season's. I might actually buy a home shirt this year - something I haven't had since a Blaupunkt sponsored effort my brother bought for me in the 90s.

Yep, and only genuinely needed the away kit in ONE game last season. Given that the trim on the new shirt is red, would suggest we might see a return of red 'change' home shorts and socks on occasions. In fact a red away kit with yellow trim would be good, then everything could be 'interchangeable' if required.

Or something completely different such as a 'Viola' or 'Juve' style away kit to make all our new Italian/ Portuguese/ Brazilian etc. Players feel at home! Feel the pre-season excitement already. COYHs!

No chance, we'll end up playing Everton, Brighton, Liverpool... basically everyone in whatever random away kit colours we get. I'll be amazed if we play a single away game in yellow.

I'd love all teams to stop changing colours when there's no clash!

I'm sorry but: that Mizuno away kit was a thing of great beauty and a favourite of God's*.

Agree. We should play in our colours unless there is a clash. That originally was the intention of an away kit.

You two don't understand how the modern game works - all this means that we need a third kit (and possibly a fourth).

According to the official Premier League handbook last season we had registered alternative shorts for our home kit (red) and for our away kit (black - also alternative white socks), yet we still wore white shorts away to West Ham, Burnley, Middlesbrough, Everton and probably others where our change strip clashed more with the home side's kit than our home kit would have done.

Just look at the nonsense at the start of last season. Chelsea rolling up in all white, and Arsenal wearing that hideous navy/lime green thing. I'm sure clubs are contracted my manufacturers to wear away colours on a certain number of occasions these days, but I would very much be in favour of a ruling instructing clubs to wear first/home colours at all times unless there is a GENUINE clash.

But then again, I hate squad numbers, refs and linos turning out in anything other than black, and goalies not being in green shirts and the same colour shorts/socks as the outfield players !!!

My source in the club has been told Monday 3rd July.

Failing that, it could be any time between now and the beginning of the season. Whatever happens though, I can reveal that it will not be yellow. Hope that helps.

Looks bloody horrible here. The filter on the official photos the club released made the red on the shirt look deeper which wasn't quite so bad, but clearly on the real thing it is hideously vibrant.

Bright yellow and bright red really, really aren't a good mix.

    Negative Nath strikes again!

I love the yellow/red combo. It's a bit more unusual than yellow/black, but really makes us stand out (in a good way) I think. The black shorts are a good touch too.

The only thing I don't like is the weird red lines on the shoulder. Apart from that though, I think that Adidas have actually done a good job here.

Not about being negative, it's just taste. Never liked the Ronald McDonald-esque bright yellow and red combo and never will - in my opinion it's a horrible colour clash and looks tacky and child-like. The black shorts and socks just don't make any sense considering the shirt either, they're completely out of place and the whole thing just looks a bit of a mess. Not sure how it can be considered a "good job" by Adidas when it's simply a template kit that numerous other clubs are using too, just in different colours.

Yellow and black (or with a bit of red as the third colour) looks far classier in my opinion.

I for one completely agree with Nath, standing out looking like a McDonald's mascot is not a good thing. That video reverts a lot back to the original leaked photos, and the sponsor is positively luminescent. Disappointing in the extreme.

I don't own any Watford shirt at all, but said I'd buy this one regardless because it would be Adidas. Since it's been revealed, I retract that; I'm very unlikely to be buying it. I'm sure none of you care about that, but it's my perspective on the shirt.
