"Active Members"

At the bottom of the front page the site lists the number of members and then the number of 'active members'. What defines an active member? Or rather, how does one become inactive?

 

Maybe inactive ones are ones that do not submit a single post?

 

Maybe. It just got me thinking because it says 245 are active, yet I'd say only 50 people post at the maximum (though that's entirely my own guess, I could be miles out!)

 

Like Ian811 who uses the boards as an amusement arcade. And spanks all the top scores.

 

There are many people who visit but don't post.
