Love his interview (Wobby), particularly "I am very happy to wear the Watford shirt, it sure gives a lot of visibility" Sent from my G8141 using Tapatalk

A negative impression to some would be that he is using us a stepping stone from reading certain excerpts. But I for one, actually like his confidence. I’ve seen somewhere that he wants to play for Dortmund and I could see that happening. I suggest that we enjoy this boy whilst we can because he will most likely be off in 12-24 months and may be our first £50m - £60m pound player.
Exactly. The Udinese model was just that, a stepping stone for superstars. If we get a couple of years out of phenomenal players then I'm more than happy! Alternatively if we get a teamsworth of them at once and become something of a Leipzig then bring it on... Sent from my G8141 using Tapatalk
I mean Leipzig doing well weren't really a surprise to anyone. They have an insane amount of money and spend it well, when they were in 2. Bundesliga they spent more than every other club in the league combined, with wages to match.... we will never be like that.
Mega caveat should have been included there but I couldn't be bothered... ....But lots of talented young players! Kimmich and Keita brought along very well, the latter via a sister club. We could be the slightly more loveable yellow version. Sent from my G8141 using Tapatalk
Just remembered I wrote an article on Richarlison that got published the other day, take a read! https://www.esdfanalysis.com/player-analysis/richarlison/
Excellent stuff! Something like this should have been done by Tim Vickery for World Soccer, rather than him doubting his ability and WP application in 2 sentences. Must be the first talented Brazilian to make waves for a "lower" Premier League side since Juninho Paulista. Sent from my G8141 using Tapatalk
Couldn't agree more with this. I think I it's nice to see a player coming in with so much confidence and ambition. Best case scenario is we match his ambition, but that is obviously extremely unlikely. The 1 thing I'll be unhappy about is if we only get to keep him for 12 months. I'd like to get a good 2-3 seasons out of him before we see him move on
Where's the spy thing? I've been to Cambridge, but I never tell anybody anything about anything. I even keep it secret that I've been to Cambridge.
Found this has a few stats, and puts him 3rd fastest behind Carrillo and Femenia, sounds like we have a very fast right side https://www.premierleague.com/news/465273
Imagine later on in the season when I am able to create a banging-trance accompanied You Tube video of this guy's goals.
I think it's already quite clear he has the potential to be a near or full blown world class player. I imagine we'll eventually sell him for an utterly ridiculous fee.
I hope that he stays at least for another season. I'd like to see him really prove himself in this league as oppose to just showing potential. To see him regularly make arses of opposition players and get 15 goals a season for us would be fantastic. Don't want to tempt fate with our injury record but he seems pretty robust.
he's a hard worker and tracks back to make a tackle, strong in the air too. i was sat in the front row at muff, right by where he did the flick over and nuts - it was fantastic to see... but the amount of headers he won that day was incredible, he wasnt just aimlessly putting a half hearted jump in, he always a made a full challenge and won most - he really put himself about. really great to see, i think his allround game is brilliant, not just the showy bits.
He has certainly hit the ground running which for a 20 year old is pretty amazing, considering most players of his age at P.L. Clubs are playing for the under 23's
A very neat finish - had a lot of work to do when gifted the ball but broke through a weak tackle and composed himself nicely at the end. Some more experienced and better strikers would have missed...
I don't think he will leave quite as quickly as some suggest He's not the finished article, and he's still to have the blip where premier league defenders suss what he's about and he has to work past that
By everything i saw since he was playing for America in the Serie B, he's a CF and is wasting his career as winger imo.
So, i assume the positions in europe are probably different, but i saw those games against Liverpool and City, and he was a winger there.
To me it helps that he is happy in all areas of his life since coming to the UK, I've heard of other foreign players coming here to other clubs and being totally disillusioned by having to deal with alot of outside things on their own with regards to finding somewhere to live, opening a bank account etc. I believe as a club we are very good at making our overseas players settle as best we can so they can concentrate fully on their football without having worry about the so called little things we all take for granted! I know from my own experience that when you do move to a different country and it does play on your mind all the stuff about wheres the best place to live, how to meet people outside work etc. Even to hows the easiest way to get to work in the morning! Also I now think other teams will double up on him which will allow Carillo and Kiko to attack down the right channel more! Happy days!
He has been playing as a winger for us, mainly on the left. I think he's brilliant, but cuts inside too often so lots of his shots from the edge of the box are blocked
Poor bloke - scores the late winner and all the press can say is either he had a poor first touch or should have been wiped out by Mawson. Suppose he won't care or read it!
