Attention hopeless gamblers. I've got a FOOLPROOF new system for hammering the bookies.

Well, not exactly, but I would like to get punters opinions on the idea of, in a game between Fancied Team A vs Unfancied Team B, backing team B or the draw?

I've been having some tremendous success with it recently. You can often get fairly decent odds too.

During the match, if team B score, you can relax and enjoy. It doesn't matter too much if A get an equaliser. It's not like when you back Team A at something like 8/13 on and they're leading 1-0 going into the last 15 mins and you're filling your britches as happens so often.

Of course, you want a Team B with half a chance. You don't want to be backing Palace or something. As an example of a nice little bet of this type, I offer today's example from the Portuguese second division:- Moreirense vs Desportivo Aves. Moreirense 2nd in the table and their last 5 DDDWW. Deportivo Aves 12th in the table and last 5 WWWLL.

Deportivo Aves or the draw was 6/5. My £5 got £11.25 back.

They were 1-0 up at ht and won 2-0. Could have got much better odds if I'd backed 'em to win of course, but who could have predicted that? There's only 3 possible outcomes and I was backing two of them with odds in my favour.

I usually do this against watford. I bet opposition or draw, and I've made about £15 profit this season, just with the odd £2 or £3 bets on each game.

That way if Watford win i'm happy and it's a good weekend, but if we lose or its a draw I'm quids in for a few drinks to drown my sorrow at a pub.

I may try this... I'm in poor form and my profit is down to just £0.50 (I only do 50p/£1/£2 bets).

but I've said I'll never bet on a Watford game so I don't know if I'll try yours Simms, although backing Yeovil looks inviting ATM

A double chance draw/Yeovil win was 2.4 last time I looked.

Golf betting is the way forward!

Will post my selections for this weekends golf on here if anyone is interested in them, haven't bet on it in weeks but want to get back into it after my terrible football betting performances

I think the only way to really beat them in the long run is by doing stupidly crazy bets. 100,000/1 bets, its the only way you'll ever make a profit (and its probably never going to happen)

Facebook, etc is full of people and pages that say they make a profit but in reality, it never works. Followed plenty of online tipsters and never once have I seen one who can walk the walk

Had a nightmare with golf tonight, all the tournaments seem to be in Asia so have already started. Managed some selections anyway if anyone is interested:

    Alfred Dunhill:
Terrible odds on Schwartzel (he is a massive favourite) but wasn't great last weekend so not bothering (although think he will win)
    Canizares 28/1
    Dyson 66/1
    Molinari 100/1
    Aiken 40/1
    Wattel 80/1

    all e/w

    Indonesian Open:
    Kapur 9/1
    Wiratchant 20/1

    all e/w

wanted to back Ishikawa, Matsuyama and Ikeda in the Casio Open but betvictor closed their betting on it as I was selecting the golfers. Cant find it anywhere else as it has now started

    Australian Open:
Adam Scott, the best golfer in the world atm, is always going to win this one. Was no value in him before the 1st round started but his round is nearly over and he is leading so quite glad I missed this one as I wouldve backed Streelman, Day and Goggin all e/w.

Won 100 quid profit off Juve, Man Utd and City last night, stuck 30 quid on.

Got 35 quid on Sevilla, Rubin Kazan and AZ tonight - 104 return. (69 profit)

Do they pay out for 1 out of 3 correct?

Good win the night before though.

Was dissapointing, Rubin Kazan let in a goal in the last minute with other team having 1 shot on target... kinda lost inerest after that but was another last minute goal with the Seville match. Gutted.

Just to finish of with my golf bets, Got 6th and 10th in the Indonesian Open so nothing there
In the one that betvictor didnt let me bet on as i was 1 minute late, i was going for the 8/1 winner and 25/1 second placed golfer. Always the way.
Not too hopeful of getting anything from the Alfred Dunhill

So Wattel at 80/1 was sitting in 3rd and then hits the water on the last hole so probably wont place now
Dyson at 66/1 is tied 3rd now so placed for me atleast

Decent weekend of betting, wouldve been so much better if I had been allowed to bet on the Casio Open though

EDIT: Wattel recovers well to finish tied 3rd and places too

  15. I once knew a guy who was a mad gambler, always on the phone getting insider tips and claimed to win loads of money. They thing was though his clothes were always cheap and nasty. That told me all I needed to know about gamblers, they are in denial.

So this year I have so far lost £100 on Watford, but its all part of a long term plan and the overall trend is very positive :)

I won again last night betting against watford. So far I had £20 in my account in august, which was wittled away by Reids' scheme to about £10, now i'm up to £32 again. Little gains but gains nonetheless.

I'm in such bad form, each week I try a BTTS and win double because the odds are so good but I always lose because of one match! Grrr

Will be putting up my golf tips again later if anyone wants to follow them... will use the gambling thread though rather than hijacking this thread further

4 tournaments, 2 are very very unpredictable with massive golfers

always had a mare on golf, the odds seem to favour the bookies more than any other sport I bet on. The only advice is lay tiger in the majors! Nearly always the fav!

Even when laying him you dont get great odds

    Major winners this year:
    Stenson
    Scott
    McIlroy

the 4th will, be someone random, or Scott

A 95th minute equaliser from Wycombe against Portsmouth cost me £497 on a BTTS/win 4fold last night. Absolutely gutted.

I've tried doing a BTTS and win bet online with Bet365 and they won't allow the combination. Which bookie do you use?

I'm sure UHORNS will testify I spread my bets over pretty much every option to get some return...
