Nah mate. Believe. It's only a game. 22 players, game of two halves etc.

#imagineif we take our yellow flags.

I wish we had that sort of mentality. It'll be "show them respect", which means sit back at let them tear us apart.

I thought Man City looked quite clueless going forward. Naaarch just crammed the middle so their flicks etc didn't come off.

It remided me of the first half last season at the Etihad - jam up the middle and give them the flanks which was very effective. Of course when we play City and Holebas is left back then Mahrez will be the afforded the freedom of Manchester and Watford.

We'll be waving them after 5 minutes. That's my prediction.

Man City were definitely off their game today. Even at 0-0 their normal short-passing accuracy was not there. The Aguero goal should have given them the confidence to overcome Norwich in the second half but they looked rattled when the third went in after a terrible mistake. The subs didn’t make much difference and their big players (Sterling, de Bruyne and the Silvas) didn’t have the influence they normally do. Only Aguero looked a real danger. Well done Norwich - well deserved. An inspiration to the rest of us.

That Buendia and Cantwell are superb in midfield. Buendia used to be a striker at youth level. They have some excellent other prospects too Norwich. The vultures are no doubt circling this summer though to dismember a promising team. It also makes our lives difficult as this result will be an enormous fillip for the Canaries. Their manager deserves enormous credit as well for reshaping the side.

Just in awe really of how well they played. They wear a similar kit to us in a few ways, but they played with the swagger
and belief we did against Liverpool when we smashed them 3-0 that time. Can we realistically expect to give them a game
    at their place?

I am going to say yes we can. If it wasn't for an awful "offside" goal, we could of a got a point their last season. It's not
a home banker... not after this... and pending how we play against Arsenal tonight, we might just have a chance.

They'll lose their next game - day after the Lord Mayor's show.

Seems like Sliva can never shift the soft underbelly his teams always suffer from.

This must be the most open Premier League season in a long time (except for the title race) - both in terms of how many teams seem to be of a comparable standard, but also in the sense that none of them seem to want to defend (not even QSF on today's evidence).

Not a good start for the English teams in Europe ..

Why did Ross Barkley take the Chelsea penalty!?

Good. These days I’m firmly in the camp that wants ‘our’ teams to lose in Europe. The same few behemoths qualify each year and their success only serves to increase their already significant competitive advantage over the rest of us.

Yes I'm with you. Last season was a disaster for English footy in my eyes across both competitions.

Trouble is the rest get into Europe then cannot cope it seems - Wolves for example this season.

Liverpool fans moaning about the penalty last night - well just like classic Salah wasn't it?

Little touch and down he goes!

And well don't rely on VAR to get you out of the mess.

It was a cast iron penalty. The reaction to it is yet another example of how football is dying quickly. It was headline ******* news.

It was when you first saw it I agree.

Was a sort of foul with an added dive at the end as they all do hence the Salah reference.

And just the type had it been for Liverpool they would have been appealing for..

Another baffling VAR decision in the Saints v Muff game. No pen given for a coming together between Josh King and Cedric Soares in the box. Ref wasn’t perfectly placed to see the contact from his angle. VAR replay showed what was clearly a foul, as Soares came from behind and jumped into King’s leg without winning the ball. Clattered him quite hard with thigh to thigh contact, But Graham Scott upheld the on-field decision.

    It’s crackers. What’s the point?

Only seems to rule on offsides ..

They never over rule on penalties.

Fair play to Bornmuff. A team and supporter base that isn't happy to be ******* around mid table.

Can football authorities ever be trusted to do anything that smacks of common sense. The VAR system is not there to laud and protect officials and their chums in the booth but to ensure correct decisions are made. They not the technology are making themselves more of a laughing stock with each week that passes.

Ludicrously close offside denying a Spurs goal just now. How on earth was that judged? VAR is an abomination.

Way to kill a game .

VAR rules out a Chelsea goal and Liverpool go up the other end and score a 2nd.

Mount was just offside maybe so they will say it was the right call .
