The Dave award for the funniest joke/pun on the Edinburgh fringe this year has been won by Swedish comedian, Olaf Falafel, for this effort: "I keep randomly shouting out Cauliflower and Brocolli - I think I might have florets". Now the Tourette's Society has asked him to apologise. Wtf! Most jokes have some sort of victim or other. Whatever happened to self-deprecation? Maybe we should just keep it simple and ban jokes altogether.
They are not really offended, its all free marketing for their privately run organisation/charity, that just happens to be funded by donations. Funny that.
Good joke. (unless cynical marketing plot) The TS really need to take notice of this excellent youtube channel that manages to entertain and educate at the same time. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNOume_VesWl0SxPJ9vXLTw ....in the same way that the last leg has massively helped understanding of disability. People seem to get offended at everything now, something that I find offensive.
Ha! Seeing as you're in charge of this thing mate, I will now out myself as a sufferer from the little known sub-condition of alcohol-induced Tourette's, which should preclude me from the potential for any future ban?
It’s not a funny joke, really, aside from any offence supposedly provided. Mechanical. As if generated by a machine.
The only thing funny Dave has ever put out are those David Haye fights. Don't even get me started on the Red Dwarf remakes or the <insert Jimmy Cart fronted abomination here> shows.
Well, the bots are where the business is. On an average day, there’s me, you, the Moog pairing of HB & Burnsy, & a whole Asimov world of bot loiterers. Influential. Whole Korean car factories are tuned exclusively to the forum!
