Difficult to tell when you play each half with a different 11 against a team from Europe, 10th August is when the serious stuff starts!

 

Disaster as this result is, let’s hope the club do the sensible thing and start building a team capable of getting us promoted back to the Championship in three seasons time.

Seen the Gray goal. He did his absolutely best to blast it over the bar in front of an open goal, but got it all wrong, and the ball flew into the net.

 

There’s a whole season ahead where he can make amends.

He ruptured a hamstring (femoral bicep) at the start of June so presumably his absence is because of that.

Was thinking the same . Also Ajax , after dominating Spurs for 90 mins , were undone by long ball up to Lloriente . Which is why we played long ball the whole game .....or that might just be because we re sh1te.

Get 4-6 points from the corresponding Home fixtures and I feel we should top the group .
