Everyone is saying that because the Harlot hasn't come forward and announced themselves , it must mean that SLB is therefore the Harlot. Perhaps the real Harlot hasn't come forward because he knows that by doing so he would effectively eradicate his powers . If I was the harlot I wouldn't come forward in this position because I would want to keep my powers to help team good . As I explained earlier an outed harlot is at best no better than a normal villager, and at worst a liability because it offers the team evil several opportunities for a free kill.
Been busy today, hence why I've been more quiet than usual. My workflow is dependent on engineers giving me required information on drawings, and whether I can chase some of that info myself. If neither happens I can post on here all day, but if one of those 2 happens my post count drops significantly. I'll still lurk but can only afford a cursory glance and therefore can't reply unless there's a small lull to give a useful post rather than a small worded nothings that serve no purpose but clutter the Day. Last Game we played half the engineers were out on Holiday so I had a lot of downtime. Right now it's lunch so I can respond easily.
I wouldn't go as far as to say its a free kill. You're almost guaranteed not to be attacked at your own home, and even if you're an unannounced Harlot you're still at equal risk of being eaten by a Wolf to betrayed by the Traitor as a 2 fer 1.
Feel like I'm going round in circles here! Is SLB the harlot? Probably? But naming the least active player as someone he stayed with isn't proof at all. Apart from a total random name, are we looking at the 3 named players, whether good or bad? Or lynch CB if he doesn't post and vote by later?
Honestly, Lynching CB isn't useful as he'll be killed off by Harrow if he doesn't vote today; a wasted vote. If he does vote and stays radio silent then that's a different matter to consider.
This literally makes no sense. The Harlot's powers are unchanged by being unmasked. They still have to make a decision every night on where to stay, and still run the risk of being in the same house as someone when the Wolf visits, or accidentally visiting a Wolf/Traitor.
It could make a difference of 1. Lynch CB, 2 kills overnight = Team Good -3 players Lynch SLB, CB booted for inaction, 2 kills overnight = Team Good -4 players (including the Harlot)
Ah. Hadn't considered that. My thought was he'd be killed off as a separate action by Harrow as opposed to Lynching. May not be a wasted vote after all.
Did you read my reply earlier when you suggested that it was possible the Seer said that they would be changing their style? My response categorically proves that that particular message on Day 1 was from the Wolf. You keep suggesting things that are manifestly not true. I did think that it was by mistake but the more you do it, the more suspicious of you I am. Particularly when you ignore the responses that show that you're definitely wrong.
I'll be honest, I think you're good and I know I'm good. And I also do believe SLB is the Harlot. So that's led me to believe no member of Team Evil has been mentioned in a message yet so I'm currently just scouting for strange behaviour!
If the real harlot is staying quiet then they've caused more harm than good alliwing SLB to continue this. It is, after all, about team good winning. The Harlot should sacrifice themselves for the sake of team good by speaking out.
Agreed with CB. Was high on my list too along with perhaps Chtulthu, who's played a very wolflike game so far.
If the real Harlot is staying quiet, then that will be proven either by a Wolf/Traitor kill in the night or the Harlot being 'Away' from their home when targeted. Overall it helps for a Harlot to be kept a secret until one of these actions occur as they can 'save' another Good player for a night or two after they are initially attacked. This was the case when I was the Harlot last game as for two nights the Wolves only got 1 kill instead of 2 focussing on me. Until we either see SLB targeted or someone who isn't SLB targeted and they are away or eaten/betrayed we can only take his word for now he is actually the Harlot as much as I don't like not seeing the proof as no-one has challenged this yet.
Right ok I'm going to take a bold step here. I'm not going to vote for SLB tonight. I think the way BRLR is acting is very suspicious. Currently I will be voting for him unless anyone comes up with a different plan. We have enough villagers left to win this game and we may well lose an additional tonight if Casetti doesn't vote but I would rather try to weed out an evil if at all possible. I'm out for a few hours but will check back later.
See SLB post. Might be better numerically to vote for Cassetti's Beard IF the way it works is that he'll be Lynched rather than killed separately by Harrow for inactivity. Harrow Orn, can you confirm this if CB doesn't vote?
Exactly this. If someone else was the Harlot, then it would be obvious to them that I was Team Evil. Had they spoken up yesterday, I clearly would have been lynched instead of DR and they would have been guaranteed a Wolf or the Traitor. Ok, their identity would have been exposed but they can go on the run! It doesn't really change things for them, they still have to make a call each night about where to go. There is no other Harlot, hence why there is total silence on this front. If they come forward now, I will vote for myself to be lynched and encourage everyone else to do so, as the person that comes forward can only be the Traitor or a Wolf, and will have exposed their identity. REMEMBER: We know that there is a Harlot in the game from Harrow's post in the rules. He's also confirmed that they wouldn't be shown as plain old "Good". No-one who has died so far has been anything other than Good! Therefore everyone should agree that a) there is definitely a Harlot and b) they are still alive. Join the dots, people.
It makes total sense , in essence the powers are still there but they become ineffective. I'll explain again. 1-An outed harlot won't get attacked by the wolf especially when there are so many other goods still in the game . This is the bulk of the Harlots power is to waste a wolf kill on someone not in. 2- The only remaining power is acrueing knowledge of who is good at a rate of one person a night . 3- this now comes at the great expense of dieing by sleeping with a wolf or traitor . 4- There are currently 18 players in the game . There are 3 evils , so therefore the Harlot has a 1 in 6 chance of being killed and giving the evils a free kill . This is a big risk to pay for the small gain of just the Harlot gaining an incremental daily , increase in knowledge if who is good . SLB, even if you are the harlot you are causing more damage than good . Not only have you reduced team goods powers by outing yourself as harlot and negating your own powers, but you have also caused a wasted Guardian visit , and now you are going round outing the good people i.e. CB to save your own skin. Even if you are the harlot, you have become a liability and have done more damage than good to our chances of winning the game .
If you read my posts you'd see that I acknowledge that your thought processes had logic to them , my comment was an observation but then having read your posts I realised that the logic in them was strong and said so clearly . I've not ignored anything you've said to me and have responded openly at all times . As have I just done explaining about Harlots. You said that I have repeatedly stated things that are manifestly wrong . Well that is incorrect , in fact I was one of only 4 people who voted correctly that DR was good .

I guess the question is if you are the harlot (and leaving aside the rights and wrongs of you allegedly outing yourself and CB), who do we vote for instead? It's a genuine question.
I've got to dissapear for afternoon as typing on phone is fxking up my RSI big time . Ill be back at 7 to see how vote is going . I think SLB is 90% chance of being good , but with nothing else to go on for other candidates I wouldn't know who else to pick . I'll let you better more experienced villagers work out who to lynch .
