C+P from SkySports.com Watford welcome unbeaten Aston Villa to Vicarage Road as they look to climb off the bottom of the table. Click here to vote on the outcome of the game The Hornets have only picked up one point from their opening four games, with narrow defeats to Everton, Manchester United and Bolton surrounding a 1-1 draw with West Ham. They will feel that fortune has not favoured them, especially during last week's 1-0 loss at Bolton, but boss Adrian Boothroyd has remained positive. He will be dying for Watford to record their first victory of the campaign, but Aston Villa have been resurgent under Martin O'Neill and offer another stiff test for Watford. Villa have drawn their first two away games, against Arsenal and West Ham, but will be looking to go one better in North London. Victory over Watford could take Villa second if other results go their way. The Hornets will be without veteran full back Chris Powell (calf) for the visit of O'Neill's men. The 37-year-old has been ruled out for three weeks and joins Clarke Carlisle, who is still suffering from a chest infection, on the sidelines. Tommy Smith is poised to make his first home appearance for Watford since rejoining the club in late August. Milan Baros is pushing for a recall for Aston Villa after recovering from the foot injury that has plagued him since the World Cup. The Czech Republic international scored in a reserve game on Tuesday and could replace Juan Pablo Angel, Gabriel Agbonlahor or Luke Moore. Left back Wilfred Bouma is also bidding for a start after overcoming a groin problem. Didier Agathe penned a short-term deal with Villa in midweek and comes into the squad for the first time, while his former Celtic team-mate Stilian Petrov will be hoping to keep up the good form he showed against West Ham last Sunday. Skysports.com Prediction: 1-2 More misery for brave Watford as Villa maintain their unbeaten start to the season. Watford V Aston Villa Review Watford recorded their first win of the Premiership campaign with a hard fought 2-1 over the Villains. An early strike by Milan Baros was cancelled out either side of half-time by a Marlon King double. Watford threatened to increse the lead but dubious refereeing decisions kept the scores at 2-1. Watford now look forward to the visit of Accrington Stanley on Tuesday and will be looking to continue their winning streak. My Prediction: Watford: King 44,48 Villa: Baros 5
There will be plenty more match reports to come. There will definetely be a lot more 3 points coming our way in the forseeable future.
