Try something new, as I mentioned an example of earlier in this thread.

Considering how thoroughly awful we've been for a while now, bar Liverpool, how can the likes of Pussetto, Pedro etc. possibly do any worse?

More than anything I am just completely sick of seeing Deeney up front every single game refusing to make runs, get in the box, or generally move. Other than Sarr we are embarrassingly easy to play against.

Are we going to pretend like Leicester was some sort of fantastic result and performance? We did OK and got a last second draw against an under-par Leicester.

Let's not act like this is a team that pumped Leicester or did anything particularly impressive. What it actually is is basically the same team that has contrived to win 6 games this entire season.

Yeah, but it wasn't a special performance or anything to shout about. There has also been a lot mote Burnley performances from this line-up than Leicester ones.

We need to make sure Doucoure plays as close to Deeney as possible to be able to run in behind and perhaps get on the end of one of Sarr's crosses.

 

Advantage of the three musketeers being booted out of the squad is we might see one of the saviours Pedro or Penaranda play a part later on. A little bit of unpredictability rather than just chucking Gray on again

Southampton have nothing to play for... yet they are winning every fight all over the pitch. Another hair dryer from Pearson at half time but I expect the effect of that is wearing off as it seems to be needed every game! Lacklustre is the only word to describe this. Not sure if any changes will make a difference!

 

I think Pearson needs to give himself the hairdryer treatment.

I welcome relegation, I welcome a squad clear out and I welcome another journeyman head coach who’s hopefully good entertainment for their 8 or 9 games.

I’ve been very pro-Pozzo ever since they came in but I’m bored now. Giraldi is useless and their stupid player stockpiling system does us no favours. I can’t think of one player in this group I’d be sad to see go and even if we come straight back up it will be more of the same. Our club has become a business venture and it’s disgusting.

May as well give Pedro a go. I’d take Deeney off as he’s not only effectual as a striker but even more unforgivable he’s showing no leadership as a captain. He’s done nothing to try and encourage the team and raise the tempo and his body language is defeated and exhausted. Appalling leadership and I wouldn’t be surprised if he got more frustrated and did something silly.

may as well try pussetto for Pereya as well.

I'm surprised how poor you are. From what i've seen West Ham are the better side down there. It's a shootout between yourselves and Bournemouth for last place . Villa and Norwich are gone.

I can take most things, but it’s getting to the stage that watching that drivel is actively wasting my time. And that’s in a year when time has been plentiful.

Absolutely disgusted to hear of Gray, Chalobah and Quina’s antics. Fine them 3 months wages (because let’s be honest, the club won’t have the minerals to sack them). The squad is in a relegation battle, it is no time for a party - particularly in the current COVID environment.
