As a first timer I can only congratulate Optimistic for playing a near perfect game*. In this "Thread for the dead" I did wonder why no-one questioned Optimistic for not posting enough but at the end of the day that was down to the players who were still in it at the time.
To be honest - I will fault you on one thing - You should have gone on the offensive against Nairobi sooner. It's difficult to judge, but I think if you and Nairobi got in a verbal slagging match a day sooner, it'll be trickier for SonofBen.
Given that the final day came down to SonofBen (Mason), Nairobi (cleared and also therefore not a full moon wolf) and Opti, that's a pretty big deal.
im not going to get drawn into anything else ive said my piece, but one final thought: werewolf is a game of tactics and deception, at the end of the day you are aiming to fool as many people as you can by whatever means you can. you can go on about post limits all you want, but at the end of the day there is nothing to stop someone posting 5 messages of babble rather than just 1. people play the game in different ways, and I agree inactive players should be killed, but as far as im concerned if you post and vote your active. its up to others to discover your motives and determine if you are evil or not. moogs message before this one, sums my feelings up perfectly.
I think you played a blinder Opti and somewhat similar tactics re-used from last time you were a wolf
Apologies for that Nairobi , was laying false trail for wolves , not for you lot to pick up on  then trying to play the game drugged up on morphine didnt help my er tactical decision making !! wasnt around long but have learnt a lot from it , worse thing is the frustration of knowing but wolves like opti didnt make an error I could latch onto , I was far too active on day 1 , and if Cude hadnt died he would have killed me on Night 1 ! Picking a fight with Moog only got me killed on night 2 . to sum up this game needs patience.
Agreed. Despite all else falling around him, including wolves killing wolves and traitors, he did a fantastic job to stay on until the final day. The early play of tying up all the loose ends was also very impressive. I suppose the problem with saying anything in this game is that it makes you a target. This dissuades you from accusing people who haven't posted a lot, as people are more likely to accuse you of being wolflike by being loud, than join in your suspicions (despite the fact that the loudest players are never wolves!). I think it should be for mods to decide, although if I was one, I'd just list the bottom three posting players each day. That way players can feel like it is something they can talk about without being accused of anything!
To be fair, you played a blinder Opti. Especially considering the kamikaze nature of the rest of Team Evil.
I don't think there would of been an issue with your lack of posting if it wasn't for the high amount of players doing the same. There were about 5 players barely involved, which I think got peoples back up. I know from experience that when your the wolf it's a hard and lonely game. Everyone will judge and tell you how you should have done this or that differently, but ultimately you survived until the final day and you deserve kudos for doing so.
As others have said, you were not the person that was upsetting people, in fact you may have kept quite for long periods, but most days you did contribute a reasonable amount in short periods of action, it was the others who hardly posted that upset people, as and when they did they clearly had not been following the game and just picked at random who they were going to lynch. Well played Opti :sign15:
