Are my eyes serving me right... a Shamima Begum thread on a Watford forum?

For what it's worth I think she should be allowed back into the UK, but upon arrival she should be sent to jail for a long time. Young enough to be rehabilitated.

The UK is not responsible. We have a responsibility to protect decent law abiding citizens who find themselves badly treated or in need of assistance through no fault of their own, not people that sneaked away from their decent family and lifestyles, and our country, to join a terrorist organisation and live a life involving beheadings and genocide and who plotted ad carried out atrocities against innocent children in this country. It was ages before she showed any remorse, has expressed terrorist sympathies about the Manchester bombings.

She and her fellow runaways knew what they were doing and never expected to ever come back. They made the wrong choices and we must do everything we can to show other like-minded people that it would be the wrong choice again - because rest-assured, the opportunity will come again when the remnants of ISIS get their act together and start again.

I may have had a different view if she had genuinely demonstrated clearly that she thought it had all been a big mistake as a fully grown adult, but initially she went out to express her support for ISIS, and only railed back when it was clear it wasn't helping her cause.

Even her family have expressed their agreement with the government, and in November a YouGov survey showed that 70% agree with the government.

The Law has stated that she should not return, and morally I think that citizenship is more of a privilege than a right.

On all fronts, we don't want her back here.

I feel sure Steve Coogan will one day retire Alan Partridge while conceding that Richard Madeley does it better.

I don’t suppose she could’ve ‘won’ either way, but I cant help thinking she might have landed a bit better if she hadn’t dressed from the western girl checklist.

I’ve never, ever watched ‘I’m a Celebrity…’ but now that Richard Madeley is going to be on it, it might be worth it.

I think she should do porn to convince people she's changed. Not that anyone wants to see it, but it would certainly make people feel easier about letting her back.
