This seems a topic ripe for conversation. But not related to Marco Silva in any way. Carry on as you will. Be it Dotheboys Hall or Brookfield.

Mr.Didcock was the music teacher. Rather stern chap. The name gave the first years giggles. Mr.Cheepen is a well regarded artist especially of felines.

Miss.Sedgeley was the other art teacher. A rather lovely lady. Jane Crabb was often spied on in the pool. Drove to work in a Porsche 944 but ran off with the Mr.Ward.

Mark Allchorn tremendous teacher. Allowed me to read books in class rather than study the lesson. Think he went on to become headmaster temporarily before going to other head teaching posts.

Oh I love Chips! I like both versions but especially the Martin Clunes one as he's such a good egg and animal campaigner.

Mrs Swinnerton,my French mistress had a special spit duct we thought, especially for all the 'r' rolling that the language demands. When I was coaching as a teenager in the park in Radlett I used to see her walk past with a pram.

Mrs Roberts was my Drama teacher and failed to book me a seat for 'The Orestia' at The National meaning I had to stand up,for all nine hours! She also left me on St Albans station,I forget the platform for 'Galilleo'. Perhaps she was trying to tell me something!

    Happy days!
