    Bit of a pointless exercise, but which players that we were reportedly interested in, but missed out on, annoy you the most?

    Off the top of my head:

    Andrew Robertson-linked with him, had the Silva/Hull connection, got Zeegelaar instead, now he’s in the Champions League final.

    Diego Perotti - looked like it was in the bag, now performing consistently for Roma

    Nabil Fekir - vaguely remember us being linked with him last summer? Now Liverpool and Chelsea are interested, and being quoted 70 mill

    We were very heavily linked with Gibbs, Boufal and Lemina, and ironically all three can get relegated this week!

    Agree very much about Robertson. He would have been the answer to so many of our problems. Terrific player.

    If Boufal was a serious target, I'm glad we didn't get him.

    Lemina has been an inconsistent sick note.

    Gabbiadini - his form means he'll be loaned out to Yeovil anytime soon.

    Kieran Gibbs - I'd still take him

    Robertson looks great and a far better player than Gibbs.

    Nathan Aké has just won Bournemouth's Player of the Season after winning Player of the Month an incredible seven times. I think it was WDSport (RIP) that reported we had tried to get him back but had been blown out of the water by Bournemouth's offer.

    Aké and Robertson in our back four would've solved a lot of our issues this season.

    The point is we did miss out on him. I believe he failed a medical before joining Chelsea. Not 100% sure, but it was an age ago. Anybody care to clear this up?

    Thomas Delaney. He stated that he was coming last summer, but it all went quiet. Had a good season at Werder Bremmen and now looks like Spurs and others are interested.

    He was poached by Spuds.

    We also had Paul Merson before he was poached by Chelsea (Ray Wilkins was his idol) - it's in his biography, which is a good read if you don't mind crayons.

    Mike Gatting...yes the cricketer - was on our books before he chose cricket.
