The background: I access the forum through my iPhone, and my password is automatically remembered so I don't have to type it in every time. I now want to log on using my iPad however I've forgotten the password so can't.

There doesn't seem to be a password reminder facility so I thought I'd simply change my password and log into both devices that way.

However to get the system to change passwords first requires you to log in with your old password!

    Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks-didn't realise. Another problem though in that it that they system doesn't recognise my email address (I must have registered using a now defunct address)?

The email you signed up with is your full name, a year and @yahoo.com

    Does that help?

Thanks SM. I tried that but the system said it didn't recognise that email address. It was a very old email address anyway and Yahoo have not only closed it down, but they won't let me recreate it!

Can I give you an uptodate email address instead?

Blah blah, send me/SM#16 a PM with your real name The one for the email address you registered with.

If you detail the email address and password you want changing to we can set it up for you.

Sure, PM me/horny an up to date email, I'll amend your account with it and you can then do the forgot my password function.
