Wow that's awesome. That's one of 5 bands I wish I could have seen live. Nirvana, Bob Marley, Smashing Pumpkins and The Jam being the other 4.

Pumpkins reformed without D'Arcy. I'm really glad I saw Tom Petty before he died. If you get a chance to see your heroes, take it, you never know...

I've never known a shorts thing to rumble quite as much as our own.

What about a combination of red & black?

A pinstripe would be smart but why don't we shift our gaze from W Herts to N Briton?

Even the name has a stirring football association.

Would a Holebas styled kilt be too much to hope for?

I expect we could profile our posters by age more accurately than Cambridge Analytica on the basis of all this.

I find myself in the Kelso ballpark which may be mutually alarming.

As a regular at Friars, Aylesbury & the Hemel Pavilion from 75ish to late 70s, I saw almost everyone of that era. Tours often started there. The Cramps were fantastic, as were Buzzcocks although Pete Shelley at the end resembled a melting candle, so much Carragher style phlegm having been projected towards him.

The Block'eads were never more than a few weeks away, it seemed, & what outstanding musicians they were. Hopefully, Stanmore's Chaz Jankel is a fellow Hornet.

I never did see the ineffable Bowie.

I saw him at glastonbury in I think 2000. I always tell people it was the best, most life affirming gig of my life. And it may well have been, but I wouldn't know as I was utterly off my **** and remember nothing.

    Black shorts. Always and forever.

    Excellent!

The local cider & imported ganga render my memories of Robert Cray & the Cure (86) similarly opaque.

Bowie was indeed at Glasto in 2000, sporting a glorious long embroidered coat & luscious shoulder length locks. A brief return to the Hunky Dory look.

Best concert - A toss up between Duran Duran end of the 90s or The Killers (Wembley) when they were touring Hot Fuss.

Worst - Whitney Houston at Sheffield. She turned up an hour and half late!! The best thing from that concert was the Mexican waves.

Red shorts black socks or the other way round. I hate yellow shorts yuk.
