I believe that N G is available and is a fully qualified coach, could he do a job for us at WFC?

    What are your thoughts?

If not what other ex-hornets are out there with coaching qualifications? I'll make a start off the top of my head: - Andy Hessenthaller; Kenny Jackett; Tim Sherwood; Keith Millen; Sean Dyche; Malky McKay and I know there are others.

I don't see where he'd fit into what is obviously a very Spanish coaching and technical setup. He would have been my pick for the Dean Austin role but there doesn't seem to be any place for that in the current staff.

Speaking of Dean Austin, this was another mistake the Pozzo’s made. I would have him back at the club anyday. Someone like Xisco could have done with Dean still being around.

Someone like Xisco could have done with being a qualified, competent football coach. That really is the long and short of it.

There's really not much point in umm'ing and ahh'ing about what semi-mythical motivational figure from our past could have theoretically appeared, ex machina, to attempt to somehow guide him; in reality it's just deflecting from that fact that it was an inexplicable, appalling, could-see-the-failure-coming-100 miles off appointment, and no measure of coaching staff bits and bobs parachuted in would have changed that.

I think the Nigel Gibbs ambassador role is simply a PR move to make us think that the Pozzo's understand the club and the fans.

Maybe I'm being cynical... But it wouldn't be the first time we've put out pointless"good news" to smokescreen abysmal performances or transfer business.

Our ambassador is more qualified than our manager. That should be the headline.

If we're going to go down memory lane for our next manager why not get Aidy Boothroyd back? I'm sure now that he's older and wiser (but still with something to prove) he'd do a decent job. I doubt he'd leave the FA gravy train for a job at the nut house though
