Struber down to 7/4, Ivic 2/1, then Terry at 5/1

Struber is one of those words/names I can’t stop saying and in various accents because of all the associated characters listed previously.

I’m also walking round the house saying ‘are you for Struber’ in the same accent and way as the scuba instructor from along came polly.

For that reason he gets the nod over the other chap.

Can I play the Sam Kelly role "Klopp!" or is Chalobah earmarked for that?

Ivic drifting a bit I see, but Struber isn't hugely closing in, so it's still open

I doubt that’s based on anything other than a few more people putting small bets on Struber instead of Ivic.

Yeah, he's definitely better known in England. Think if anything, Ivic might be more likely, as he's unattached, and as far as we know, doesn't have anyone else after him at this time

That Leventhal article stated Ivic has already turned down Trabzonspor and another Turkish club.

I’d be happy with either appointment to be honest - it’s Struber’s one time links to the Red Bull setup that attract me most. They don’t seem to hire bad coaches.

Giraldi will be there to ensure whoever we take on, coaches the players correctly, picks the right tactics and gets subsitutions right. They'll be in safe hands.

If we play him at CB he'd be a step-up from what we currently have tbf.

Rangnick has been Sporting Director at Leipzig and Salzburg. Jesse Marsch and Struber have worked under both club's jurisdiction.

    It's happening.

(It's not but I've had a few pints in 33 degree heat)

It will never happen but Rangnick as manager would be amazing.

Yep. Important to get the core in place quickly. Would be useful to hear from an incider.

Just listening to the most recent From the Rookery End about our next potential coach. They got on the very worst kind of guest, some hipster football **** who suggested Roberto Martinez first then some obscure Portuguese bloke called Lager, then some other bloke from Monaco. Can only presume he thinks we're still in the Premier League.
