I posted about an issue earlier today which has since been deleted. I'm having trouble with my login in that my password an username are not being remembered when I click on to the forum and I am also getting warning messages when I login, particularly when I login on my iphone. Is there anything I can do or need to be concerned about? Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide.

It's not been deleted irishorn, see here:

The warning messages are appearing for everyone, it's a site database issue and doesn't effect the user at all.

I'd suggest your computer/phone forgetting to remember your password/user is something to do with your cookie/cache/settings.

What are the warning messages you are getting? We did have a malware issue which is now sorted but soem of the virus agencies need telling it's now sorted. Most have been done but we may have missed one.

The remembering of usernames and passwords is handled by cookies. If your security settings or virus checker are told to ignore these then this is the first sort of thing to go.

For anyone else's reference, the warnings you get when logging in, in black font at the top of the screen above the logging in box:

    Code:
Warning: Function split() is deprecated in ..../includes/functions_login.php(204) : eval()'d code on line 4

Warning: Function split() is deprecated in ..../includes/functions_login.php(204) : eval()'d code on line 5
    Redirecting...
    Ignore them. :)

Many thanks to you both. Can I trouble you for some further info. Where do I find security settings and virus checkers? My sincere apologies for my lack of IT knowhow.

Security settings on your internet browser (Internet Explorer, or Firefox, or Google Chrome etc)?

Virus checker is usually an external bit of software you download, I'm not too clued up on which is best as I don't use Windows but I recall AVG and Avast are usually mentioned.

Is Logan Issues 'reported', 'confirmed' or 'suggestion' and where does he play?
