    I'm honestly torn.

On the one hand we have pretty much every immunologist, epidemiologist and virologist on the planet.

On the other, we have one random bloke on the internet. But he does have a masters in pharmacy, so that changes things.

Even if the virus is naturally fading away for the summer, the virus is still there, and it's far more likely to be spread indoors than at an outdoor event like the protests or the impromptu Liverpool celebrations

    It isn't.

Florida is pretty hot at this time of the year, and look what's happening there.

It might be getting spread more in air conditioned environments in places like florida, we dont know. But either way its clear this isn't a seasonal virus.

I think what Gray did was bang out of order but if he scores a hat trick today, which is pretty probable, then all will be forgiven.

Andre Gray does get an incredible amount of media attention for a 2nd choice striker at Watford.

Did the newspapers have front page headlines on Grealish and the other lot who broke lockdown rules? Or Just black rights activist Andre Gray?

    (With his tats out).

It is a bit of mystery why he doesn’t get more opportunity at least off the bench. Always been impressed when I’ve seen him.

Gracia gave both of the players in the title of this thread some game time, but QSF and Pearson not so much. Gracia was more attacking though, preferred to go toe to toe with the opposition, whereas the other 2 more cautious. Gracia wasn't afraid to drop Deeney now and again either.

He was on the bench a couple of times, I just took that as being he gave other players a chance. He was soon back though.

Then Deeney of all people defended him!

Maybe because he is a Brummie albeit a Villa fan.

Because Capoue and Doucoure are better probably. He’s always looked good when he’s been given a chance.

Gray, Quina and Chalobah omitted from today’s squad as a result. Had to be, really. Very disappointing behaviour and it could cost us not to be able to utilise Chalobah who will be much fresher than Hughes, Doucs and Caps.

Sure. That is probably what it was. A big, completely innocent, misunderstanding.

These players really just don't give a ****.

They are getting relegated but they are such selfish, idiotic, tone deaf ****s, that they pull stunts like this.

I hope our going down ruins a few of their careers.

And to do so before a crucial game, with your club looking like relegation fodder, after an insipid performance a couple of days earlier?

Completely tone deaf, brainless, selfish **** bollox.

I came to the realisation recently, that if there was a Hollywood movie about the Premier League, we would be the bad guys who the audience enjoyed watching get their comeuppance.

We are a hateable club from top to bottom. When we go down the other 17 clubs and all neutrals will all be delighted.

Fortunately it is only the bit part players that have been naughty, wont make any difference to the team's chances of staying up as they weren't really utilised very much by Pearson anyway. Maybe Chalobah could have come in for Capoo if Capoo wanted a rest during the run in but not really a big deal otherwise.

Pearson won't be happy with Chalobah after supporting him so much

Chalobah has come on in both games so far, has he not, and been utilised as a starter in a 3 at times. As it stands, we have basically no central midfield replacement, so it might well make a difference to our chances of staying up.

We have 2 holding CM's from a choice of Doucs, Capoo, Hughes, Cleverly. I wont be using that as an excuse anyway. There will be other reasons for our failures if we do go down I expect.

Whilst I agree with you, we do actually do a lot of good as a club outside of what happens on the pitch.

Just read Chalobah wasn’t at this party, he lives with Quina and therefore had to pull out of squad.

    Tough on him.

Where did you read this? I can't find a source, and Reuters didn't mention anything about it in their report an hour ago.
