Tales Of The Gold Monkey was great viewing.

Now it is any NCIS and spin offs, I enjoyed Candleford recently, and any of the murder/mystery programmes, not working at the moment so any of the antiques shows as well.

I'm currently enjoying a Mad Men addiction, although it is so sexist I feel it should be kept in a locked vault and only shown to researchers in case the ideas catch on again.

I have a deep love for How I Met Your Mother, although British comedy has been stellar lately. How Not to Live Your Life was great last series as always and Ideal still makes me laugh on repeated viewings.

Anyone else love Prison Break? That's probably my favourite show of all time, and I've just seen that the same team are making another program called 'Breakout Kings', which will be centered around a group of criminals hired by the government to help them catch far worse criminals, and will even have a direct link to Prison Break as T-Bag will be reprising his role for 4 episodes! Could be crap in the end, but I'm quite excited for it.

Going back through Arrested Development again. One of the best sitcoms of all time, if not the best.

Never watched cheers, I like the other two though, especially what i've seen of Seinfeld. Have you ever seen Arrested Development, I can't recommend it enough.

Or how about Curb Your Enthusiasm? Larry David is hilarious (Seinfeld writer... just in case).

Two shows that English people seem to like more than Americans are The Wire and Prison Break.

The Wire was critically acclaimed but you never heard people talking about it around the water cooler so to speak. I don't think I know anybody who has even seen an episode of Prison Break, but that could just be because I am a male between 35 and 49.

EDIT I think Prison Break may have suffered being opposite '24', but I may be wrong about that.

Don't get me wrong, I think they are fine shows, and would prefer if both came back on tv to replace American Idol or any and all the reality tv shows.
