Sadly wouldn't be surprised - a few choice words from some Wolves fans about his comments made about Raul celebrating with a mask.

Seems it’s the Mexicans who’ve been throwing the abuse around.

Seems some of them on there didn’t like the team celebrating our third goal in front of them. What a strange lot, 2-0 down and then winning 3-2 in extra time, what do they expect the players to do, calmly walk back to the centre circle just in case they antagonise the opposing fans? Daft daft comments, sour grapes out in full force for a minority of Wolves fans it seems.

Mainly, except for the one who sent adjust to mapps. "BentheBlazer" has photos with black friends on his profile. His story at the moment is an "apology"

I don't understand how anyone get so angry at football that they turn into a horrid racist and then say they're we just about the football

HH24 did the wrong ‘comple/imentary’ on the Wembley thread.

Amersham omerta so I said nothing.

But this brings out the Michael Oliver in me.

    Whistle! Point! Penalty!

    Otherwise, agreed.

Football doesn’t turn them into a racist, they are racist.

    I've screen grabbed from this:

Something that's really struck me as odd (and I've seen stuff like it before described as "...rival supporters rascist abuse..." is that they do write odd, un-English things such as in the one above where he mentions the money as firstly using the € as the currency and secondly "...40M €..." as anyone in Europe would write it as "...€40M..." You've mentioned Mexicans - how do they 'write' their money - just pointing out that Russians do their money with the currency symbol after the figures...

Also why would Wolves fans do racism? Wolverhampton's an extremely diverse place and I'm assuming that there are quite a few non-honkies in their own team (and have been)?

Does make you chuckle. Wolfs fans up in arms about Troy describing a player putting on a wrestler mask as a 'loser' in that game go on to criticise the way he looks, his past and his family. Before going on to say he's brought the racism on himself.

I guess they ain't so clever up in that small borough of West Bromwich.

How utterly predictable. What makes me despair most about this is how tribalism means people are angered at any suggestion of racism towards one of their players, yet constantly make excuses when their own are being racist to opposition players. There's always an excuse you see, Deeney/Sterling/Rose bring it on themselves you see, can't say anything even mildly goes against the status quo without opposition fans getting on their back

I'm afraid that VAR has just checked this and decided that HH24 was in fact correct. Original spelling stands.

My theory is that HH was very quick with the Edit function but, being in a hole already, I won't mention that.

Ha - you keep telling yourself that! Nope, I was more than happy to accept my public admonishment without question but was confused, when I looked at my original post, about what the correct spelling should have been. I didn't want to get it "wrong" a second time so referred to trusty Mr Google. And lo and behold......
Basically, you chose the wrong post to pull me up on; in another post I noticed I had rather clumsily misspelled "allocated". But that I did manage to edit silently and no one will ever know.

    It was the same post.

    One ‘l’.

There’s Watford. But then there’s Buckinghamshire Watford.

If Stevo did an ‘i’ before ‘e’ after a ‘c’, I’d wave it through.

(Did I get that right? My spelling confidence is like a Lalique vase heading towards a Tuscan tiled floor at the moment.)

Is he quite high up in the PFA? He said earlier players will be boycotting social media for 24 hours
