Would be unrecognisable as a formerly living creature by now if the Joka was still in charge.

 

That for me was the worst moment of the season. For that reason alone, I hope he never plays for us again

 

That cramp must be really bad if he hasn't made the squad since Bournemouth. I'm guessing he won't play another minute as long as Walter is in charge.

 

He does not really want to play for us anyway. don't forget his quote "I have been able to fulfil part of my dream by moving to England, and I still have to establish myself in the long term.
"Maybe once I have done that I could step up another level, and join a more classy club over here in the future".
I personally think that he would need to be a more classy player to be able to do that.

 

We signed him from Genk, on a 5 year deal for an undisclosed fee.

True, but it is not customary to make quotes like that while you are playing for a club, and certainly not something that will exactly endear him to the supporters.
Best in my opinion to keep these aspirations to ones self and certainly not to air them in the press.

One thing I could never criticise Iggy for was his looks. Very handsome man.

 

I saw Kabasele walking up the stairs behind Mazza's Sky Sports translator in the Elton John Stand last Saturday. Would've gone to shake his hand or something but I was worried it would give him a cramp.

 

Why wasn't he on the bench instead of Mariappa on Tuesday?

 

He is now back in full training according to the Wobby, so he could possibly be available to start or at least be on the bench Saturday.

 

What a nice coincidence as we lose our first choice CB's. 'injured' he isn't. Dropped completely by WM he is/was.

Further to his response to Richarlison's Rocket Man tweet and other moments of solid craic, I would like to put forward that Kabasele is my favourite member of the squad and probably highest on 'Best Player to Have a Pint With' (previous holders: Gianni Munari, Marco Cassetti, Daniel Tozser, Rene Gilmartin.)

 

Richarlison would probably be decent if he understood what we were saying.

Great to see some of the Pozzo young 'signings for the future' are coming good and the "network" is paying dividends.

Sad for him personally but pleased from a WFC perspective. The more of our players that get time off to rest this summer, the better.

 

Imagine taking a 32-year-old playing in America and someone playing in Scotland over Kabasele ffs. I'm not scared of Belgium at all, Martinez has ****ed that team right up. Not only that they're likely to play with a 3 at the back and scrapped Jordan Lukaku, pretty much the only wing-back in the squad and taken Chadli over him...

 

I’m not shocked as he was always one of the 5 that looked to be susceptible to being cut given his last and only cap was 2 years ago. It is surprising a couple of the defenders who got in over him though.
