Seems to be banging them in for Forest - one decent strike, one header and a confident penalty. Who'd have thought it?

I don't think anyone questioned his goalscoring ability - it was others areas of Britt's play people had doubts about.

But then he's a striker and their main job is to score.

watched Bmth V Florist last night and BA was pretty poor in a very poor Florist team. I was impressed at the pace that Bmth played and they were really in their faces closing down fast - if they could finish, they would have won comfortably! I guess that after about 60mins they started to tire and Florist were patient ultimately grinding a win out - from where i was sat, it wasnt a BA goal, but an own goal (which BA is trying to claim).

Not sure I would consider thumping a pen as hard as you can straight down the middle a confident pen

Looks like a fair shout that but because it was going on target anyway the rules tend to give the goal to the attacker.

His header last night was apparently actually an own goal and the penalty he scored was a total fluke, he was very lucky

He will score goals at Forest no doubt but lets not get carried away

He'll be back with us at the end of the season after his current loan spell. Amazed we loaned him to a rival champ team tbh.

I genuinely think the fee Forest paid for him is the most he'll go for in his career.

Yes. He may score 25 goals this season but I expect they will all be lucky and most will really be own goals. Really he has done nothing for Florist so far and the florist crowd will be on his back if he doesn't quickly start delivering REAL goals.

with our initial fee and sell on we got over £3mill for BA. If we had kept him he wouldn't be near our 1st team now we have MV back and Iggy. We would have snapped florists hand off had the offered us that amount. At the end of the day posh only netted just over £1Mill profit on him. I think we did well on this one.

Another well taken goal showing his predatory instincts takes him to the top of the scoring league tables. :sign15:

lol he stuck his foot out, any decent defence would have cleared it long before he had the chance

You could say that about 95% of all goals. He just 'happened' to be in the right place at the right time.

He certainly gave the keeper no chance. This kid looks good, worth a bid if Deeney goes? Ideal replacement imo.

Hahahaha, imagine if we did? The price would already be higher than what Forest paid and this board would go into meltdown!

Agreed, scoring goals is clearly our main issue here.

On a serious note - Troy, Matej and Fernando are so much better than him it's a joke. Despite his season with Peterborough he still wouldn't get near our starting eleven! If he does well at Forest then good luck to him but I had to laugh when Manish suggested last night that Forest have the best attacking options in the league.

I laughed too ... just wait for Reid's annual blow up and watch the goals dry up as per usual.

How is this 'general football'? Being a youth team product makes him at the very least Hornet's Nest material. Shoddy moderating.

Fair play to him. It's nice to see academy grads doing well.

He was never getting game time here, and took the correct decision for his career by going to Peterborough, which is to be applauded - especially for a youngster. The club got a great upfront fee for him while also hedging their bets.

He's had a great start to the season and as long as we end up promoted I hope he does well at Forest.

Will Hoskins has just signed for Oxford where is his thread?

If you have an issue with the placement why did you post it in the Transfer section when the old thread had run its course in there?

    Does Assombalonga play for Watford?

Has he been linked with Watford?

No? Then it goes in this section. Come on, its not difficult.
