Glad that he's found a club at a decent level, can probably just about do a job at this level. Kinda makes me feel bad that he's either going to get ripped a new ******** by Sarr and co, or he's going to use his knowledge from the training ground to pocket them all game!

When he says ‘his time didn’t end the way he would have wanted it to with us’, what do you think that alludes to? That he wanted to end his career here? Or that’s he’s fallen out with us? He’s pretty good mates with Jenas as well and he hasn’t held back in his comment - which would suggest his departure is a sour one from Mapps perspective. Wish him the best, hope to see him back in a non-playing capacity some day. Still think the club have acted disgracefully by giving him such a flimsy tribute by way of an apology during a fans forum.
The fact they were in long talks over a contract as Duxbury says suggests to me they weren't agreeing on something - more likely the role at the club rather than money surely? I mean the rest they were probably quite happy to see go and those players were probably happy to go!
