Was OK today, looked bright when he came on. I hope for his sake that the club aren't telling porkies and that he really was ill, because otherwise, with what little he's played, you'd think he has basically no chance of ever being a significant member of the squad
Yeah I thought his performance was probably the only positive of tonight’s performance. Looked good in tight areas, progressed the ball well and took responsibility. Would be happy having him around as an option.
Agree that he's exciting, decent technically, looks to make things happen. Something different in the squad. Overall I'm definitely a fan. I'm just not sure how much of an "Ivic" player he is, character-wise!
Perhaps the best thing to be done with him is to coax him by placing him on the bench and giving him minutes. Give him a goal and purpose. Having sat him on his backside for the u23 at his age is hardly motivating him. Tell him go out there and show us what you can do. You have the talent now let us see it.
He looks like a classic case of a talented player who may not show the consistent effort in training (and on the pitch?) that gets him into the side. His agent should whisper in his ear that a few weeks of being the first man to training and the last man to leave - working extra on the side - might just get him where he wants to be. Seems to have plenty of talent. But he certainly lacks something that every manager he's played for seems to be looking for.

I like the fact that he’s training and laughing with Pedro and Quina. I hope he’s really serious about knuckling down and getting on with it. He was tipped for big things. Hopefully this will be a season that we get to see that start to come to fruition.
I would like to see him on the bench this weekend. Throw him on for a few minutes for Sarr to see what he can create out wide. His trickery should be enough for tiring defenders.
Like so many of the forwards on our books, he's more suited to the left as he's not lightning quick, but why not? Very interested to see what he can do this season
I don't know why, but I think he might finally come good this season and live up to his undoubted talents. Lets hope Vlad can get the best out of him, because if he can AP could end up being the surprise package of this season.
.....pretty much what has been said for 3 years now. He can't get a game anywhere, even in Belgium. He scored a long range shot vs Coventry(?) Reserves 2(?) years ago. There's a reason no manager who has had the chance, has played him.

Yep. All if this has been said for the last 3 years...We should just give him away with a decent sell on clause but I guess we are stuck with him as no one will match what we are paying so we'd need to pay up all or part of his contract.
Considering what Ivic has said and repeated again yesterday, we can take it he wants to play here, is committed to playing here, and is putting in the effort. We just might get to see him after all.
A no-show yet again in the league for our Venezuelan. What on earth is holding him back? It's clearly not a matter of ability, does he not fit the system? Is he terrible in training? Does he want out? A slight niggle perhaps?
He posts videos of his personal highlights on instagram. In said 5 minute videos, he looks so talented it is ridiculous... however I would imagine that it is the other 85 minutes that would explain why he isn't here.
He seems to be getting in some games over there. No goals that I recall seeing but some extended runouts at least.
Could be the fact he has worked out he can earn a lot of money by not doing much, of which he is excelling at!
Rumoured that CSKA Sofia are very unhappy with how his loan has gone and are considering sending him back over the winter break. Imagine that's his time at Watford over. What a waste of money.
