Excellent performance and win. The first half was up there with any performance I can remember in years.

No bringing Deeney, Gray or Holebas back in against Huddersfield either. That team deserves to play again, with perhaps the exception of Kabasele coming in for Mariappa.

The Manager of the Month curse strikes again! Wolves looked very lackluster.

Delicious football with Deulofeu and Success on the pitch instead of Gray and Deeney; shame that neither of the two have the fitness to last 90 minutes though.

Capoue MotM yet again - magnificent. Player of the Season so far.

Pereyra not far behind Capoue either.

Well that ladies and gents is how you make the new media darlings look ordinary...very ordinary.

That, Sliva, is called game management.

FFS. There can’t be anything to argue about after that result. Ruined my bloody evening.

We should be beating these Premier League new boys by 6+ goals at least.

    Not good enough IMO.

    Gracia Out!

Doucoure was the link to both goals. 2 assists in 2 minutes.

Fantastic performance. Marriappa came in a was as reliable as ever, Feminia and Masina gave us great width and pace, both saw plenty of the ball and defended well too when they needed to.

Doucoure, Hughes and Capoue (MOTM) popped the ball around like a couple of lads having cans and a kick about in a park, with the latter bossing everything and everyone around him.

Deulofeu had some lovely interchanges and looked good, not match sharp though and tired later on.

Success filled in very well too, his strength and pace must be a nightmare to deal with, held the ball up well when he needed to.

He's comfortably our best centre back when on form, which he was for the first 5/6 games. He's made a few mistakes recently, but I don't think you can really be leaving him out in favour of Mariappa.

Both very good goals. If we were city they’d be called worldies. As it stands prepare for motd to make it somehow look like wolves were very unlucky and we cheated

Barcelona would have been proud of that first half performance. So dominant and capped by two fantastic goals. Capoue has to be player of the season. Work rate, interceptions, passing and attitude are top class. Looks like the player he should have been several years ago.

Success showing great promise and should lead the line. Delofeu building match fitness and sharpness and Pereyra also working hard great skills on display. Hughes solid as ever and Masina looking ever so comfortable at left back along with a much improved Kiko at right back. Doucoure perhaps just a little off the excellent standards he has set himself.

Tactics spot on from Gracia which completely nullified their much vaunted midfield.

Special mention to an unglamourous but brilliant performance from Success.

Played alone against 3 CBs who before today had the 5th best defence in the league.

No doubt at all. Cavaleiro's effort will feature prominently while the several chances we had like Success and Doucoure will be conveniently left on the cutting room floor. And can I repeat once more Garth Crooks is a massive cahunt.

He bullied them with ease. Bennett was lucky not to be booked in the first half on two occasions. Worked hard, held the ball up and worked himself into the right positions. Improving all the time.

Just what we needed after last weeks pathetic display. Brilliant from Javi, tactics were spot on first half, and even though we were more defensive 2nd half, we were well organised and very hard to break down.

Credit to Wolves though, their fans produced a good atmosphere, their stadium is decent and they play some nice football. On another day, a few of their chances could have easily gone in.

Play same formation next week please and perhaps keep Gerard on for a little longer.

Very good perfemance 1st half particularly and two great goals

Capoue goes from strength to strength , Bobby P great goal and good work back in defence ,Hughes good as always , thought the defence looks solid

Only minor criticism should have pushed harder for a third goal , but more than happy with a 2-0 win

Pereyra is different quality. No one else in the team scores that goal but his first touch was perfect.

Also came within 6 inches of winning a penalty with some great dribbling and should have had an assist if Doucoure hadnt fluffed his lines.

I have just checked in the result from Toronto. Can't quite believe it. It has set my holiday up. Shall be flying back in time for Huddersfield at home, which I hope will replicate this performance and result.

'On form' being the operative words. What I liked about Mariappa and Cathcart today was they did the basics right and didn't give away bad/costly fouls.
But yes I expect he will return.

Not many in the league could have scored that goal.

Outside of the boot on his wrong foot to curl round the keeper....whilst running at pace and being pressed.

Great win well done boys and a good performance to end our winless run and put the pain of the Muff result behind us.

Capoue playing like a man possessed, Success back enjoying first team football and seems up for it. Needs a couple of successive games to get match fit for 90. Good to see Delafoo playing again and picking out some great passes.

Shame Cajones is injured but he will be eager to get back ASAP. We were all correct about a different formation and setup brought a better performance and a positive team balance back in the side.

Huddersfield is not a home banker and we need the same level as today to get a result. Great to see we have the depth to change it and still win a game.

First clean pair for Foster since opening day too. Well done Gracia.

At what point does a bigger premier league come in for Peyrera? He still has the odd quite game, but his finishing is out of this world and today he was tracking back and making last ditch tackles too.

Or Is he just one of those players who will constantly stay under the radar due to the odd injury and quiet game here or there? I hope so.

Mariappa was fine today and credit to him he has often stepped in and done a decent job, but when he's been in the side more consistently he has been shown to not be good enough to be starting week in, week out. Kabasele made a mistake after coming on as a sub in the league cup and one against Bournemouth, aside from that he's proven himself to be a very good centre back at this level and had a pretty good season overall so far to this point.
