2 more goals for him today, all those on here that say they don't rate him well his goals to games ratio this season speaks for itself. He's the kind of player that will get goals and give us a glimmer of hope to stay up, £2-£3M perhaps - definately worth it. I'd rather him than Eastwood or Sharp as Earnshaw has done fairly well in the prem and for a struggling side.
If Norwich decided to sell their only real goalscoring threat then quite frankly they would deserve nothing but relegation... I doubt he will come even if we made an offer.
agree. would rather see him than league 1 and 2 players. he's played in the prem and has got bags of pace and most importantly can score. wether or not we get him or not im unsure
Earnie would be a brilliant signing, I’ve always rated him due to his pace but unfortunately I agree with those who say Norwich would be very reluctant to sell. Much as I rate Eastwood, Sharp and Mcleod, he is proven and therefore less of a gamble and surely worth an enquiry. Out of interest were we linked with him in the summer?
Earnshaw will not be leaving Norwich. They don't need the money, he's scoring goals and is happy there by all accounts. The only sniff of a transfer I've heard in relation to him is talk of a swap deal with Reading for Lita.
I heard it would literally be a straight swap, one for the other. They're both rated at around the £3m mark by their respective clubs.
In my opinion Reading will be getting the better deal if it is a straight swap. Although Lita is a good player, he was involved in that incident in the night club at the start of the season. He’s also not been that impressive in the Premiership compared to Earnie imo I'd say Earnie is worth over 3 mil and Lita slightly under to be honest, but the league you are in affects the selling price, and this is evidence of that.
