We're showing an interest in West Ham striker Divin Mubama, according to this report. English club make move for West Ham man, January exit on cards - report (westhamzone.com)
"Valerien Ismael as he battles for his job at Vicarage Road" Not even related to the article yet the culture we have has rubbed off on the football world. Creating goal chances as of late hasn't been an issue, but converting them has. He looks pretty handy but would he just be another bench warmer like Healy? VI clearly has his favourites and "Mr. No Plan B" seems to stick to his guns. If this did turn out a lead we follow then you would expect one of Rajovic/Healy to go first. Cannot see us having the money to house four strikers.
This seems to have come from an opinion piece on footballleagueworld: https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/watford-fc-could-look-to-west-ham-to-solve-striker-concerns-view/ Doesn't look like it's an actual rumour, but has been picked up on by another couple of fan-made blog sites. Moving on.
he looks a bit too good for us, good to show some ambition but really we need to sign someone from the Cypriot second tier
It irks me that Sunderland got Pierre Ekwah from West Ham for peanuts, whereas the only cast-off we got from them was friggin Ngakia. From the limited clips I can see of him he seems closer to an Ekwah than Ngakia in his ability, which means we probably won't get him.
Can he lead the line\ bring others into play ? If not then we don't need him as we already have a couple of strikers who can't do that either .
I confess I’ve only heard of him through FPL as I was looking for a budget bench forward back in August and I saw he’d scored in three successive friendlies, including one against Spurs. I remember West Ham fans saying back then that they hoped he’d get a chance this season, especially as they don’t really have a true out-and-out striker (bar Ings, who is regularly injured or benched). But it seems he hasn’t. He’s highly rated and this would be a real coup if we could sign him.
Never heard of him, not a clue about him so I haveno doubt he will either be our saviour or a horrendous waste of money. Talking of money I thought we didnt have two brass farthings to rub together.....
Best wait to then. If he is any good someone will sign him up in January. If he isn’t his contract will expire and we can sign him, like we did Quina and Ngakia with a long contract and promises of future riches.
Maybe as a loan in search of guaranteed champ football? Alternatively, there must be some sons of famous footballers we haven’t signed yet, currently working as taxi drivers or waiters etc ?
