I would say that the fact that there were 11 seasons made of The Walking Dead suggests that it’s an unpopular opinion. Netflix would not have carried on making it if large numbers of people hadn’t kept watching it.

I don’t think that is an especially unpopular opinion, although their very first album (four decades ago!) was decent enough.

The second album wasn’t bad either. A brief renaissance when they covered some reggae classics pretty well then a slow decline.
I really liked “I think it’s going to rain today”, great sax near the end.
    They’re no C0ldplay though. ;)

The show turned into a zombie at the end, shuffling on, never dying. I stuck around until the end of the main show, felt an anti climax.

One really good song (1 in 10), a couple of reasonable ones and then what appeared to be a succession of so-so covers.
    Good band name though.

Unpopular or not... Joy Division / New Order are the greatest musical act this country has produced in the last 45 years.

    Unpopular TV opinions:

Breaking Bad was generally a boring show, albeit one with some epic moments.

Also never really liked the Walking Dead. Struggled through the first two series and it already felt like Groundhog Day, so I gave up.

I watched the Gilmour Girls when my wife was watching it and expected to hate it. It is actually very high quality TV.

After season 5 and 6, both reviews and viewing stats tailed off considerably.

It's actually amazing how globally known UB40 are. You will hear them in South America, Small African villages and the Caribbean. Their reach is truly global.

Never really liked the Cure, but can recognise that they were a great band.

Don't think they really broke new ground like JD / NO did though.

I did see Robert Smith at Kings Cross about 15 years ago - coming out of the Eurostar exit. Fully made up and hair all done at 7:30am - hats off to him.

Waking Dead was excellent up until around the Negan stuff, then it suffered from being a ratings winner, but having no ideas left and got milked to death like a lot of American shows.

One of the best episodes imho was when Glenn and Abraham were killed off in the Season Seven debut. It was really well done and very tense. However, I agree that the show writers more or less rode the Negan hype train and shoe-horned him into almost every episode then after. He could of been used sparingly at first, then become more of an antagonist as the season went on. No bad light on Jeffery Dean Morgan however, who portrayed the role superbly.

I don't need to take that, because I know the outcome. I support Watford and have hope we will improve, and the fact I work for Elon Musk's company and have accepted this as the norm. :p

“Wombling merry Christmas” is a great song. One of the best Xmas songs. Genuinely.
“Summertime city” is also a great uplifting tune.
