Looks like he's back training, it's a shame he didn't return a couple of weeks ago so he could get himself a loan. He could turn into a good option for us next season in the Championship when Dennis and Sarr leave.
Didn’t even occur to me that signing Kalu will further push a promising young player further down the pile. I hope he enjoys playing for Partick Thistle next season.
Yeah I didn't think of that either. I doubt Baah is good enough to hold down a place ahead of Sarr, Dennis, JP or Cucho but he certainly looks good enough to bring on for 15 minutes and cause some chaos. Oh well, there's always next season for him, until we sign some old duffers in the summer.
Hopefully Roy can turn him into the next Zaha. Everyone in football thinks our owners are ****s, so we should try and get the most detested **** on the pitch too
But in all seriousness, the kid has played for England and Germany at youth level - and was wanted by City before he failed his medical. Is Kalu really so much of a sure thing that he was worth bringing in instead of giving this lad a go?
You assume we could develop Baah to a first team level. Or put any confidence in our youth players. If he was any good/big boys etc.
Seeing how well he's doing for them, at the level he was playing at 3 seasons ago, I just feel sorry for him, the bright lights of the Prem must have been very tempting to him at the time, but who knows where he'd have been had he not wasted 2 seasons of his career
Baahs played the least amount of minutes out that list as well (apart from Abdul Fatawu who's played 30 mins less than Baah). 2 goals and an assist in 8.5 90s played. Needs to turn some of those dribbles into chances but having a promising loan spell so far.
