Surely out wide is the absolute last place we need new signings, unless there is truth to the Asprilla rumours. I'd imagine it's more likely that this is ******** though (especially as we all know what happens when other clubs get involved!)
Problem is we seem to be dodging quite a few of those lately. Which is sort of worrying as we still need a competent striker (amongst others), and every lead we get are rubbished within a day or so. Clock is ticking on this Window, and that would mean our only outlet for goals up top would be Bayo and Healy. Unless we give another U23 a proper stay in the side.
Let me reassure you. Had we wanted to sign ANY or EVERY ONE of the players with whom we have been linked this window, we would have signed them. No question. FACT. Our main targets, all of them, are still out there. It may take windows, years, but we will get them. The signings to date are mere hor d'oeuvres.
