What do you think about Jay Stansfield? Big striker on loan at Exeter from Fulham last year. I suspect he’ll get a bottom half championship line this year.
He's big but awful in the air! According to Opta he attempted 72 aerial duels and only won 10 (14% success rate) last season. Good amount of goal contributions though. Sadly don't have access to SB for a full radar!

I’m gutted he was our top target. It’s so depressing they thought he was the guy and even more depressing we couldn’t even get him.
Yet Burnsy was just the other day indicating they probably weren't and that Moore was supposedly the most likely signing.
Even if he was out top target, we can do better. Why aren't we utilising this "no work permit required for 4 signings" rule? Get on it!
If he really was then wtf were we doing for the last few weeks?! Did we think they were going to suddenly lower the price nearer the end of the window, despite multiple clubs being interested? It seems more and more likely we’re scraping round looking for a loan (because we can’t afford a transfer fee) and will have to hope a good opportunity presents itself when PL clubs realise their youngsters/fringe players are better getting experience/off the wage bill.
I listened to the DNSYE podcast and certainly sounds like Moore is the number one target they said that at the last Our Place Giaretta had told them he is in contact with Kieffer Moores agent on a daily basis. To be honest I think signing Kieffer Moore is pretty unrealistic as I am not sure Bournemouth want to let him leave.
However we want to spin it, we’ve so far lost out on strikers we’d have otherwise signed to both Stoke and Birmingham this summer. The PL legacy is well and truly gone and Pozzo has returned us to where he found us.
I think out of all the players I've heard us linked with, he is the one who excites me the most, certainly the one with the best track record (and hopefully someone we can mould into our system) but clearly no move is imminent. If he is our first choice, I suppose it does beg the question whether it's worth holding out for him when there are so many moving pieces, but out of the names I've heard that look like they're still available, I'm not sure how much of an upgrade (if any) they are on Bayo
Is it spin to think we’ve backed off Wesley? It’s not like he’s a world beater and most would have been underwhelmed if he’d joined. Kaba was clearly a more premier target.
Word is that we were about to sign him but then got gazumped at the last minute by Stoke, I'm not massive concerned about Wesley the player, but if that's true, it does show that we are just another Championship club now
You don't need to lie about having a tier 1 source to know a player who played well against us and agreed personal terms was actually a player we wanted. I'd tell you who our new first choice target is, but the thread title says 'Kaba' so someone will cry to the mods who'll wipe the thread.
So in the space of less than a day we've gone from your misplaced tantrum, to the reality of us actually not having lost a player we probably didn't even want to Stoke, and having perhaps lost one of our targets who it's not clear is our priority to a club in La Liga. Do you still stand by the statement you made above, or is this more "spin"?
There were reports a couple of weeks ago that Spain was his preference. He’s played there before and I imagine coming from Africa he’d find the climate in the Canaries a little more preferable to that of the Midlands in February. Apparently they’re offering him more money too.
